Hilltop Inn Salmon Arm

Visit July 2- July 3, 2025nGood hotel but it’s basic in everything. We were party of 5 and as rooms are small we got two rooms but rooms wasn’t connected with a room in between. Two separate buildings and they chose the outside building for us may ba as we book through booking.com. Rooms wasn’t bad and clean but very small. , the restaurant there is in the hotel but actually operated away from it. Located just off highway, so it is easy to continue your trip in the morning but no views at all and far away from any areas to see.nSwimming pool is an advantage there and looks like they are doing an effort to keep it working but it needs more effort to benefit from it . Reception staff was good but a little difficult if you requested service to get.

This place was fine at best. Right off the highway, no view in sight. The AC was nice in our room, but the pool left something to be desired. It was just a normal pool. Also the whole hotel smelled like the fried food they served in the restaurant. There was hair in the shower and white powder on the sink. Also breakfast very much not included. Overall a very middle of the road experience.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Hilltop Inn in Salmon Arm. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which set the tone right away. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a large mini fridge—perfect for storing snacks and drinks. The pool area was a highlight—well-maintained with lots of lounge chairs and a good-sized pool to relax in. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay. Would definitely return!

Stayed here two nights. Grounds are well maintained. Had a variety of front desk servers, all great. Loved the pool, spacious and warm, although get there early for seating. Recommend staying on the first floor of the 2nd building, they include a walkout to the pool from your room. 2nd floor overlooks the pool from a balcony.nRooms are nothing special, although the beds were comfy and the AC as cold as you want it. Housekeeping was prompt and did a great job, each day.nWe will return.

Stayed here for two nights. The only thing good about this place was the pool. Rooms looked nice at first, then noticed black mold in the bathrooms in the tile and shower. Lots of bugs and spiders in the room. The ac unit would run intermittently, sometimes for 10 seconds then shut off and then 1 min, then back to never shutting off. There were loud banging noises all through the night in the walls no idea what this was just annoying when trying to sleep. And the fan switch for the bathroom was on a motion switch, it would go off at random times during the night. Probably the worst sleep I’ve ever had on vacation. Rooms are not worth what they are asking for.
