Howard Johnson by Wyndham Enderby

It's right in my town! So it's great, right?! Of course. My favorite beer on tap (Rickards Red) and tasty fish and chips - a supper date with my best buddies or best gal - where else would we go??! I'll be back :-)

Entrance is bizarre. Had to walk through the restaurant/bar and patio to get out to the courtyard to get to our room. The pics make it look WAY nicer than it actually is. Clean, but way overdue for a reno. I stayed on the highway side, and it wasn’t too bad for road noise, but there’s a really loud dripping/banging in the ceiling anytime another room uses the water.

Rooms are standard but the staff is nice. Food in the restaurant is decent and worth going back for.

It's kind of out of the way but perfectly serviceable. It's fine if you want a place to stay the night. As others have said, accessing the rooms (where guests stay) is a little strange because you must (1) enter the building, (2) pass through the lobby, (3) walk past the connected restaurant, (4) go back into the open, and then (5) find your room. The photos were a little deceptive (though this was to be expected, I suppose) -- from the photos, our room seemed quite spacious and well-equipped to accommodate two adults and two children, but things ended up a bit cramped.

Very helpful desk crew but room is not smoke free.
