Bluebird Chalet

My two sisters & myself had a wonderful three night stay in Chalet #1! Everything about this little gem was perfect! The beds were extremely comfortable, and we loved the hot-tub! All three of us agreed that we want to return! Thanks Ericka for going out of your way in bringing us an electric extension cord for our fondu-pot last minute! You're the best! :

I was at the Bluebird Chalet for a girls weekend and it was amazing. The Chalet was very clean and well organized with options for recycle and garbage. The kitchen was beautifully stocked which we did not expect but wow, what a great surprise. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the essentials were fully stocked toilet paper, towels, fire wood, etc ps. The shampoo is such good quality unlike hotels!!! Only heads up I have for for guests is the fridge is a little smaller so if you have 6 people, bring a cooler for extras and the shower is a little smaller too so if you don't want to wash your hair, bring a shower cap.

I love this place! The chalets are fully equipped for cooking, laundry, etc. Extremely relaxing and quiet. Wildlife wanders through the site from time to time and it is an interesting break while relaxing in the hot tub.Rooms: 5/5

This cabin was AMAZING! Clean, stocked kitchen, VERY comfortable bed, BEAUTIFUL private yard with fire pit. I had forgotten shampoo and to my surprise, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion were all there!

What can I say? This place was beautiful! Plenty of space,clean, welcoming! There was a hot tub, hammock, fire pit, BBQ we came here for a family gathering, it was more than perfect.

The two cabins provide a quiet rustic hidden gem. The cabins were well appointed with VERY comfortable beds we ordered a new mattress when we got home. No Wi-Fi to distract you from living in the moment and very close to Larch hills ski area. We were a little disappointed with the lack of opportunities to roam the property with snow shoes, but it’s proximity to Larch hills makes up for that and while the pod adjacent to Chalet 2 is great for kids, not as good for adults. Other than that THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay.

We come back every year and it is always the best experience. Such a quiet, and quaint atmosphere. The cabin itself is so cute with the birdhouse feature inside. Its an amazing off the grid getaway that we love.Rooms: 5/5

We stay here every year on our trip back home from BC to AB. It’s a great halfway spot. Bluebird Chalet is out of the way, off the tourist beaten path, yet close enough to amenities in Salmon Arm. Larch Hills Winery is right around the corner, and Larch Hills Ski Resort is just up the hill. Mountain Biking anyone? Ericka is an amazing host and always has a quick reply and solutions to any concerns. We plan on staying here for many years to come!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bluebird Chalet! The property has everything you need: kitchen supplies, firewood, garbage bags and even wireless speaker. Kitchen is fully-equipped and bedrooms, cabin, birdhouse, hot tub are awesome! We came to Salmon Arm from Vancouver on New Year Eve, we decided to take highway 1 and road conditions were ok after snow storm. On the way back driving was the way easier. Make sure you have winter tires our car is FWD and we had no problems to get there.

We stayed in chalet two for three very peacful relaxing days. The chalet is exactly as described. If you are looking for a spotless, well equipped and place you cannot go wrong with this chalet. We did not hear a single car during our entire stay. A short fifteen or twenty minute drive will put you in Salmon Arm or Enderbry. There are many lakes within a short drive. If you enjoy wine a short fifteen minute drive you can visit Larch Hills Winery, highly recommended. We would definetly come back to the Blue Bird Chalet!
