Heather help me get checked in and gets five stars on her own- she managed to squeeze me in at 10:00 p.m. after my very long drive, even though I didn't have a reservation. The rooms are clean and well appointed though you can tell it's an older building that has been renovated. Location was great but be aware that entitled boat bros may take up several parking spots with their lake toys this is not the staff's fault obviously. The free breakfast was well appreciated as well.

PET FRIENDLY 5 Stars - CLEAN 5 STARS - BREAKFAST 5 STARS - LOCATION 5 STARS - OLDER FROM 2002 AND NOT UPDATED 3 STAR - NO SAFE IN ROOM -1 STAR.nIf you don't like or are allergic to animals, or you want a place with upgraded amenities and is modern, then don't book this hotel. But if you want comfortable, accessible, clean, and a place with an exceptional breakfast then this place is one I would recommend.nFirst off this place was build in 2002 I believe and it sure looks like 2002. Old floors, fixtures, doors, decor etc. I was transported back to my teenage years when I first walked into my room.nnHowever the water pressure was amazing, the place was very spacious and clean, and the bed had the right soft and firmness. There is no real closet for your clothing, no safe for you to store your valuables, but they do have a kitchen with a microwave, fridge sink and a small kitchen cupboard.nnI love the fact this place is pet friendly, but I am also shocked at how many people looked shocked to see so many pets especially get on and off the elevator. There is a green space at the far back of the parking lot so your pets can relieve themselves.nEvery morning this hotel serves breakfast, and I mean an incredible breakfast. Sausage, eggs, toast, bagels, potatoes, waffles, pancakes, french toast, yogurt, pastry, juice, tea, coffee you name it. We were STUFFED every morning and so grateful we didnt stop at a nearby restaurant and get the same thing paying $60+.nnThe pool and hot tub area are very dated but functional, but we love the fact they stay open so late that you can get into a hot tub with no children later in the evening.nnCleanliness - INCREDIBLE! I have seen so many staff members walking around cleaning this building. They clearly hold things to a high standard which is probably necessary for a pet friendly hotel, but I never felt unclean in this place.nnCoffee/Tea/Water station in lobby 24/7. We truly appreciated this, especially to grab a coffee on the go in the morning, and water coming in after a hot day at the lake.nnLocation - This is in an fantastic location. Especially for beach goers. 8 min drive to Canoe beach which has an amazing dog friendly beach, and its about 8 minutes to walmart, winners and everything else you need. But you are already so close to other shopping and restaurants. We really appreciated this hotel being in such a central spot.nnQuietness - No the walls and floors are thin and you can hear everyone walking and talking around and above you. It was annoying to listen to while in the room, but we made the best of it for other features about the hotel made up for it.

Great stay! The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable—especially the beds. Really good value for the price. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was a big bonus that the hotel is pet friendly. Located in a pretty and scenic little BC town, it made for a peaceful night stopover

Nice and quiet and standard free breakfast. Good for a drive through road stop. It much else to say. Quiet, comfortable enough pillows are terrible though and accessible

Do NOT stay here – total nightmarenThis place is unbelievably bad. Massive Core-Mark trailers were parked right under our window the entire time, with their engines running non-stop. The noise was unbearable—like trying to sleep next to a diesel generator. I went to the front desk to complain and was met with pure attitude from someone named Heather. Completely rude and dismissive—she basically yes the manager has deal with this trailers and they can stay and should to run the engines non-stop. Clearly, this hotel is run with zero regard for guests. Save your money—this dump shouldn’t even be open to the public.
