Cute idea and good use of space. There are nice seating areas with umbrellas. However, the entire area is pebbled and it was hard on our dogs toes.
Great park for socializing puppies. Went there every day for at least 4 months. My puppy had so much fun there.
I love going to this park because both the people and dogs are so nice! It's a little small for my mini doodle to really get her exercise, but there are always great dogs for her to play/wrestle with.
Sadly the trees died and the city didn’t plant new ones. It has no charm anymore and very little shade in the summer.
I'm not sure this place actually exists because I've only been to the park twice despite looking for it a couple times. This tiny park, if you can actually find it, is great for dogs and children. Very small and communal. Everyone who you'll encounter is very nice. I tried to get photos but none would actually take.
A great place for smaller children to play and be active!
Great park for young children. It's quite small so if there are more than a few other people there you can't play ball games etc. It's also quite packed at times as the area doesn't seem to have enough park space. There is a spot for an ice rink in the winter, but the city has yet to install a water tap to fill it. This acts as a play area during the summer.
A nice little park tucked away in Leslieville. There is a small splash pad, basketball court and playground. There is also a dog park making it a place the whole family can go to. The park has picnic tables and chairs to sit and relax on or enjoy a picnic.
The gravel cover is made up of stones that are too big to be comfortable for any but large breed dogs to run on and it is really too small for them to get much of a workout. But the people are great and the dogs well mannered and 99.999 percent of the owner's pick up after their dogs! So it is clean and there is seating for 'guardians' to sit and chat while the dogs get their social time and get to work off some energy. I have a toy breed ad she finds it too painful to do much more than carefully walk on the substrate but she still likes her social time with some of her friends and she's very aloof and doesn't make friends easily, so she works with the ouchy feet just to be there. If the substrate was half the size it is, this would be an excellent dog park. It even has a water fountain while the temperatures are above freezing.01aedq
I've always loved this park. I grew up around this park. It's changed a lot since I was kid but it's still a great park. My son now places in it and he loves it. Definitely a great park to bring your little one to
