Coronation Dog Park

Absolutely love this park. It's not immediately visible from Lakeshore, so cars passing by are mostly unaware of it. It's mostly populated by the locals, and if you go frequently enough, you're sure to meet some friends for you and your pups. Whether its in the cold of winter, or the heat of summer, this park is well maintained throughout the year and they offer scenic views of Lake Ontario, as well as a massive running trail and open grass area for picnics, runs or whatever else you'd like to do in the urban outdoors. There's a double gated area which I am a huge fan of, which makes this park a 5/5. Alot of parks have a single gate opening, so if your hands are busy with a stroller or secondary item, your dog might run away after opening the first gate. With the double gate, you first enter, get the pup in, then close the door so no one else including your own dog can enter, then you open the door to the actual dog park, preventing unwanted escapes. The setup is genius and I wish more parks undertook this simple modification. The area is HUGE leaving you room to play throw with your dog, as well as several picnic tables within the inside.

A dog park located inside the Coronation Park and right next to the National Yacht Club. Like those Muskoka chairs to sit and enjoy the lake and boats, while dogs go crazy playing.

Very nice, shady park with lots of chairs and benches, flowers, picnic area and dog park next to the waterfront and yacht club. Several great trails, or paths to jog, walk or bike.

This is one of the best dog parks in the city. Lots of space, a water fountain for dogs, great lake views, and lots of benches and places for owners to hang out.

Great dog park with a beautiful view of the water. Good amount of space for the dogs to run around, Muskoka chairs & pick-nick tables for owners, and a water station for both. Owners and dogs are always super friendly. Park has some lights, but would be ideal if there was more at night.

Love this Dog park! Just across the street from my condo, so much space for our dog Lola to run and frolic with the other dogs.

Get your playing kit, dogs, pack your food and spend a really afternoon here. Fantastic park in downtown!
