Love this park. The recreational trails are very well maintained & easy to walk or run. ‍You can park your car for free at their large parking lot. Now is the perfect time to visit. The colours are changing.
10 minutes drive from Northyork. When in winter it was calm and fresh. Good place for a walk and breath fresh air. There is a small river and an old bridge. Dog walk park is near by. Parking space can accommodate approx 30 cars easily. Need to visit in Summer too. Recommend this place.
Bartley Smith Greenway Trail - G Lord Ross Park We hiked this Trail in summer and winter starting at the G Lord Ross Park. It is a nice park, busy in the summer with washrooms, picnic tables, play area for sports. The trail is paved and one can see a pond.
It is one of the great parks at North York. Good place to walk your dogs, keep your kid engaged and great for strolls, morning walk and cycling. There are couple of parking lot with entrance from Dufferin and is accessible using ttc route 125 near antibes drive. Good place to photograph nature and birds. I have spotted deer, rabits and cayotes here. The park has a stable and couple of footballsoccer and cricket fields. Restrooms: It has two reasonably mainted restrooms opens till dusk. Picnic area: It has couple of picnic spot with option for barbeaque .
Its a nice place to go for family gatherings, walks, walking with your dog, bike rides… I recommend going with the family or without to enjoying seeing the beautiful trees especially now that the leafs are changing colours and falling off. The place is huge.
This place covers a huge area and has many things - fields, playground, water streams, dam, reservoir, jogging track, different trails and so much of nature. I go their to walk regularly and cover different parts.
Great park for a leisurely stroll. It's relatively larger than most parks, so more room to explore. Loved the amphitheatre and the Holocaust memorial.
Great park! Nice trails, streams and great views of the reservoir. However, I would not advise esp. you are alone to hang out after the dark though inside the park as it does become sketchy and feels desolate.
Great place in Toronto to feel you are not in the city. Many trails through the woods with spectacular Fall colours.
A week after the biggest snow dump in years and it was grey. Went along the east side trail to Steeles, then along Steeles sidewalk to the west side trail entrance. The snow on the east side trail was cleaned, but not on the west. The loop is about 6km.
