Beautiful property for a true camping experience. I started here camping weekends in my tent and now have a seasonal lot with a travel trailer. I have experienced both sides. I found this campground safe, friendly, and relaxing. This campground is set up to accommodate all camp styles seasonal, overnight, tent, RV, water/electric and dry camping. Clean shower house, camp store, owner on-site, relaxed vibe, family friendly, great fishing, boat rentals, swimming pond, Bingo most Saturdays or an event for all campers to join. Yes there is mobile phone service and stores nearby.
Great place to camp. Friendly people. A lot of activities. Bingo every Saturday. Boating and fishing. So if you want to get away for awhile come on down to hidden valley campground an stay awhile. I'll see you there. Playground: Swing set. Slide. Merry go round. A big wooden boat to play on.
Great people camp here, activity are needed but improving, restrooms are way cleaner than most, beautiful place to relax and party when nessasary. Friendly atmosphere unless you are a problem, then owners are testy but fair.two thumbs up from me ,
Great place to camp for the season or just an overnight tent or RV excursion. The people in the office are friendly but have limited hours during the week but usually there on weekends until 4.
Really nice lots and friendly people, wish swimming pond was cleaner- full of algae and muck! We like it there and recommend - mgt. is working on things .
We stayed two nights and there seems to be no quiet time policy in place like other campgrounds have as people were up both nights being very loud until 4am. The showers were barely warm, not clean and the water smells horrible of rotten eggs.
All in all a nice quiet place to camp. The restroom/shower facilities could be updated. Water pressure not the greatest. The owners are friendly. The seasonal campers are not too sociable. The weekend campers were all very nice. A few social events planned, but rain cancelled movie night. DJ was okay, but the seasonal campers wrecked the restrooms that the weekend campers have to use to shower as well. Needless to say I went without shower last night here.
Primitive camp site with elec 30 a night. Lake to fish and a pond to swim and dry wood couldn't ask for a better place. Play ground for the kids.
Needs salt in the water tank for shower but other than that wonderful camp grounds friendly people who run it
Beautiful, level site with lake view. Mowed around lake so easy, safe walking. Could see fish. Clean showers and bathroom. Accommodating staff. Well dried firewood. Very quiet. We were just passing through so only could enjoy one night. I absolutely recommend Hidden Valley Camp Ground. Hope they list themselves on Trip Advisor. That's the site I usually use to find places to stay. Happy we didn't miss HVCG.
