What a great park!! Beautiful expanses of manicured lawn and large trees. Pool and lake to swim in, boat on & fish from; lifeguards and snack bar, too. Sites are shaded but none between the sites, so no privacy from your neighbor. Trash pick up 2 times daily, sewer included, rate is a good value, really friendly staff who invited us in early when we made the reservation by phone. No bug problem. Thanks!

This is a good campground. Management does a good job. The management does take action when not following the rules. There is security, I have seen them around the park. This is a family camp that is worth the stay... Short or long. The facilities are outdated but kept clean. The pool is kept heated and clean. I would recommend this camp without reservation! Loss of star for the following. -* Suggestion: Maintenance should update the shower heads so they all work properly. Suggestion: Golf carts should keep to 5 mile an hour limit and yield to vehicles. This is not a management issue, this is courtesy and safety. Very seldom does a car goes over the 5 mph limit. Most vehicle drivers are courteous and safe drivers.

Plenty of spots, book in advance. Plenty of activities and things to do on site. Shower facilities were clean. Music nights are great! Feels like a community, safe.

I've been coming here for years. We use the primitive sites and we have a blast. It's not crowed, the people are amazing, and the shower houses are immaculate. I can't recommend highly enough.

The best campground in the portage and surrounding areas. Hands down. Always a blast, always family friendly, and beautifully kept.
