Hertz Car Rental

This place is awful. I was forced to rent from Hertz because my insurance gets a better deal, so this is the first time I ever used them. I waited for them to pick me up at the body shop in the rain for an hour with my 8 year old daughter and my service dog. I was so late to work that I missed my first appointment. I finally had to call again and remind them I was waiting. In the meantime someone from Hertz came to pick up a car from the body shop I was at and brought that car back to Hertz and still left us there. Finally the guys came, never apologized or anything. After I return the car I get a statement in the mail from Hertz for $25 for an "Outside Washing". Who pays $25 for an outside washing first of all and all I did was drive it on local road a d an expressway. I wasn't off road driving with a Hundaii Sonata. Plus my insurance company was paying for the car so why are you sending me this? Probably because you know my insurance company won't pay this. So I try and call for more information. I call "Customer Service" and she says she has no information and that I need to talk to North Aurora and literally hangs up on me. Awesome! So I call North Aurora and talk to Will. He doesn't know anything either and seems not too sure of himself and hangs up on me after he takes my phone number. My guess was that he was going to call me back. He never did. I call the next day. Will answers again. He tells me that he has 3 customers waiting and he needs to help them and needs to put me on hold. I tell him I have been waiting long enough but I will wait. I wait on hold for 10 no Utes until the phone goes dead. I call back Will answers again and wants to put me on hold AGAIN. I say NO. I wanted to know exactly what needed to be washed off and where did it say the car needed to be washed on the outside of the car when it is returned. He told me that his manager will call me back and that he isn't there right now and he was the one who made the bill up and sent it out. So now I am waiting for Justin to call back and tell me what on earth costs $25 to clean the outside of the car. I will absolutely never use Hertz again for anything. It was a horrific mess and I will absolutely go ahead and Bill them for my missed appointment and my hourly rate if they want to play that game. So far my bill for them is at $130!

I'm really surprised at the negative reviews. I found nothing wrong with this location. It is small (two stations), but I had no issues with service. One guy was new (like 2 days new), but hey - everyone has to start somewhere, right? He was courteous and apologetic for his newness (which I had no problem with). The other person, Aaron, was knowledgeable, helpful, and a very good multi-tasker as he had to help the new guy, service the line, and field phone calls. All-in-all, these guys were working hard and moving people as quickly as possible in a courteous manner. No issues.

Would not rent from this location ever again. Never in the last 11 years that I have been renting from hertz, I have had this kind of poor service. Wonder if it's got anything to do with the low wages that hertz pays its employees.

Trash! If I could rate with zero stars I would! Didn't have any vehicles when I arrived for my reservation and didn't help me locate another vehicle nearby.

Horrible experience. Employees highly unprofessional,rude, and seemed like they were stoned. Called to see if I could get a car, they asked when I could get there so I asked when do you close? 459pm.... So I said I'll be there in 20 mins(4pm) No you gotta be here at 445pm I gotta do an oil change. So I arrived at 440pm. The 2 employees do not return til 5pm, looking very stoned. And tell me that they have to clean the 1 of 2 cars they have available. So i said ill come back in the morning, No problem well have plenty of cars available... Come back, nothing available.
