I've been a patient with Dr.Kelly for the past year. I have rarely gotten in for my appointment at the booked time. And trying to call to get an appointment or to speak to someone is basically impossible. All I needed today was a simple confirmation of paperwork having been received by them. As I write this I have been on hold and hung up on several times over the past 2 hours. I highly recommend Dr.Kelly but the clinic needs better time management and reception.
Had made an appointment 1 month ago for a meet and greet with Dr Kelly. Appoint was at 10, arrived early. Waited 1hr and 15 min past appointment time. Seems like appointments are treated as walk-ins. I had to go back to work, so I left. Guess I am still looking for a doctor.
Nicest staff and my new Dr Dr Kelly is the best family doctor I've ever had! He's very thorough and I never felt that I was just a number. Very happy I chose them!
I am new to Edmonton. Back in November, I was having difficulty breathing. I have suffered from asthma since birth. It was suggested to me to go to Dr. Kelly. I arrived around 8:30am. My information was taken and I was immediately taken to an exam room. I was pleased with the staff. They realized I was in trouble and I was seen quickly. Dr. Kelly is a wonderful doctor who takes the time to talk with you. I am proud to have him as my doctor.
Disgusted, disappointed and angry are the words that I could think of when I want to rate DR.BAXTER. I have never in my life dealt with someone sooo unprofessional and rude. I was sick when I got there, and left crying and feeling sick to my stomach from the way she spoke. I would never ever recommend this lady who I won’t even refer to as a professional. I waited 2 hours to be in her office for SIX MINUTES!.. and when I asked her a question, she stopped me mid sentence and told me “only one problem per visit”!! I’AM SHOCKED!
My wife and I were like 5th or 6th in line when it opened. We were told we needed to do a rapid test to be seen by the doctor which was something the doctor decided that moment. Was told go to the drug store next door but they were closed still. We drove home to do our tests. Then it took an hour and half for me to get called in. While I was getting my blood pressure done, the doctor decided to prioritize the ones who booked an appt. My wife never got called because we were walkins. We left after I was done.
Pathetic. The website said 0min wait time. I tried calling to verify but nobody picked up so I hung up after 20min. That should've been my first clue. I show up 10 minutes later to an absolute circus. The phone was ringing off the hook, there were dozens of people waiting, and there was no greeting for me when I walked in the door. I had to ask how long it will be and sure enough the estimate was 4 hours. It would be nice if the website specified the wait times are inaccurate and are only there for you to waste you time.
Doctors and staff are great but they really need to sort out appointment times. I had an appointment at 2:50 PM and it’s now 4:15 PM and I still haven’t been seen by the doctor. I don’t mind waiting a bit if the doctor is running behind but anything over 30 minutes is excessive and disrespectful of the patient’s time. We have jobs and lives. If I wanted to wait over an hour I’d go to a walk in clinic. They are clearly over booking. Update: I went a second time hoping the first experience was a bad day. I had an appointment at 10 AM. It is now 11:37 and I am still in the waiting room. I will be using Maple from now on. It’s clinics like these that are contributing to privatized healthcare.
We came to the clinic and the lady in the reception asked us our details . After checking in the system, she said Doctor BAXTER doesnt want to see you. When we enquired the reason she said something that happened year ago. We took an appointment year ago and waited for a long time in the clinic. Because we questioned the reason for the waiting time, the receptionist and the so called doctor got irritated and hence he decided not to give service to us anymore. Hatsoff to the doctor and clinic. Do not react if u choose to see this doctor and the clinic.
Absolutely disgusted with the service at this location! Website states they open at 8am. I arrive at 745am and am waiting, I think, pretty patiently and about 810am, someone finally comes to the door. However, it isn't to open the door, but to grab a sign off the door with yesterday's hours and then leave without even an acknowledgement of the long lineup outside. This same individual comes back, and again with no acknowledgement whatsoever, puts up the sign again now stating they don't open till 830am. This is not how you go about treating people who need medical help! Website should have been updated last night or as early as possible this morning so that people aren't waiting, outside in the cold, for longer than necessary. Completely upset I'm in a lot of pain and the last thing I really wanted to do was sit on a cold bench outside freezing. The individual could of, at the very least, opened the door to explain why they were not opening as stated on the website! Update, doors finally opened at 835am to then be told that they don't accept walk-ins until 10am! There was no mention of this on their website at all! Waited for almost an hour just to have to turn around and leave to go somewhere that will accept me as a walk-in.
