Extremely, extremely, rude and aggressive receptionist. I personally work in customer service at a medical clinic as well and I ensure that whenever speaking to anyone on the phone I am always making sure to be polite and respectful, which was no different in this case when I called the clinic to ask a couple questions. The receptionist was unnecessarily extremely aggressive with me and very very rude . I politely asked to give her some feedback that I felt that she wasn't treating me respectfully, and she rudely yelled at me before hanging up on me. If i had a patient giving me feedback that they don't feel they are being treated respectfully, my response would NEVER be to yell and hang up on that patient. I cannot believe I was just treated that way in a professional medical setting. I am genuinely astonished by the behavior of the receptionist I spoke to today. I very much hope they record their phone calls so this receptionist can be investigated.
The most unprofessional medical centre in all of Edmonton. Wish they had medical management to report them looking into it Do yourself a favour and just go to a different centre. The receptionist clearly don’t know what they are doing and can be very rude and stand off. Get a different job if you hate people that much. One day they only do appointments next time they don’t accept appointments at all and it’s only walk in’s. Make up your minds already. Be prepared to sit an hour or longer pass your original appointment if get one. If you take a bus be prepared to pay for another ride as your ticket will expire due to them.
I have been seeing my doctor there for almost 7 years. I love the staff there, they are very polite and professional. The wait time can be a little long, that's why making appointments is the best way to get in quickly. There is a Rexall pharmacy right there with the clinic which makes it even more convenient.
Judging from the other reviews I likely caught them at a good time. Little waiting compared to other medicentres obviously depends on time. They did what I wanted and life is good. No complaints. If you're concerned about wait times always call in to verify.
Rude staff, best doctor. Sunday Jan 8th 6pm as soon as entered in clinic with my wife and son, the lady sitting on the front desk right side of computer without saying Hi or Hello, “do you have appointment?” “No, walking” I said. “You have to come before 4 pm” she said I was just shocked I was just thinking if I am in Canada! We went back home. On Jan 11th While I phoned to get my appointment, 20 minutes I was on the phone but nobody answered. A lady answered , in 2nd approach I just said, you guys are busy hey that's the reasons nobody answer when I called earlier, she said, "don't waste my time tell me how can I help you? " I asked what I needed, she answered very in attitude, in very rudely manner. I tried to say her that was not the correct way to speak, she hang up phone by saying thank you for feedback. Very disappointing behaviour. I hundred two present won't go at that clinic if I assess tthat lady but the same time Dr. I. Baig he is the best family doctor I have ever seen I go to this clinic.
I'm so glad that the aggressiveness of the receptionist on the phone dissuaded me from going there. I have 2 recommendations: 1. Fix your phones so it doesn't sound like contacting Mars for the first few seconds. 2. Teach some manners to your receptionists and remind them that it's usually sick people who call a clinic and the last thing they need is someone being nasty to them for no reason when they're trying to seek help.
Very short wait times. Great staff and Drs. Been going here for years, seen many different Drs until I found my family Dr and never had an issue
Made an appointment for exactly 10:10 am to get my ear looked at, and it’s been over an hour and I still haven’t been seen. There have been several walk ins that have already seen the doctor and left, and I’m still waiting. After confirming my appointment time I was asked to take a seat, but my reason for coming was not addressed. This became an issue because reception believed I was there for an ear flush that I did not need or ask for. Additionally, when I sat in the waiting area I could hear every word of every conversation had between reception & patients, making it so there is absolutely no confidentiality for things like addresses, phone numbers, and reasons for coming in. This is how I know that walk in’s were seen before me, as I clearly hear them answer “no” when asked if they had an appointment. This was only my second time coming here, and I will not be back. Horrible service, long wait times even with appointments, lack of privacy, and poor communication. If I wanted to waste over an hour of my time I would not choose to do it here again. ***UPDATE**** after waiting 70 minutes I have finally been seen, and after not even a minute my doctor left to take a phone call. He was a very informative and kind, turns out I have to go to the ER to get something removed from my ear. Including this because while my overall experience was bad, the doctor i saw was very kind and wrote me notes for work and the ER for free
I took a covid test at this place. When it was past my 48 hours for results phoned in and they told me I was going to be issued a refund. That Day was August 21st. I still have yet to get that refund due to numerous issues on their end that almost seem like excuses. Wish there was corporate to look into as it is completely unacceptable to be waiting almost a month for a refund. Terrible
Dr. Baig is a great doctor and gets things done fast and easy. The receptionists on the other hand are quite rude, both in person and on the phone. It’s mostly one woman who is very argumentative. I called Dr. Baig and he told me to come in and let the receptionist know that a nurse could treat me. However, this receptionist insisted I could not see anyone without seeing Dr. Baig. Same day I watched her argue about COVID regulations with another patient who was correct. Told her she couldn’t be in clinic because she didn’t quarantine long enough. Same receptionist also now says the pandemic is over…
