This restaurant is really nice and very worth it to try!! I tried their egg benedict, which is "Chive and Benny, and it was so good!! The potato was crispy, the poached egg was perfect, and the bread itself is so tasty!! It's only $17 for the half size. I tried the full size, which only $3 different and it's already fulling $20. It is recommended to go in the morning, since the restaurant is very popular in town and there will always a line up on the afternoon. Definitely will come back!!
The place is great for breakfast and lunch, but it's very popular. There's almost always a wait to be seated, but it's usually worth it as the food is top notch. However, inside is rather small and intimate, and usually not a great place for conversation, as it can sound a bit like a chook house. Still the service was great.Food: 5/5
Hello Toast was the best brunch I have ever eaten in a restaurant. My sister and I were only in Kamloops for one night and she is a foodie so she found our brunch spot, so glad she did! It was a very busy spot but our timing was just right and we didn't have to wait for a table. I couldn't decide on which eggs Bennie to have so our server suggested I do half and half. One classic and one Incredible Hulk. It was all delicious, very large portions, we tried but we couldn't eat it all!
This place has the best western breakfast food I've ever had. I've eaten at a lot of breakfast places that are good, but heavy and pretty standard. This small place topped every single one. The strawberry shortcake French toast was fantastic. Not too sweet, with just the right amount of cinnamon, and oats on top to add texture. I've also tried the "Cayanne in the Rain" bowl and it had just the right mix of spices, cheese, eggs, and potatos. Most of the time I find these sort of dishes heavy and bloating, this was just right and so satisfying. On top of all that, the server was a delightful woman, who was very welcoming and friendly; and the decor is comfortable and charming, featuring local artists and family photos. After giving 5 stars to some other brunch places over the years, I kind of want to take those all back. This is the best one.
Great experience. The staff is amazing. We were here for the first time and we're blown away by the food, staff, lighting, speed, care; basically everything. We were able to thank the server but the chef being the door was amazing as well.
Highly recommend. Enjoyed breakfast in this quaint restaurant. The server was super friendly and prompt. We both ordered bennies and our meals arrived very fast and were hot and delicious. We both enjoyed their signature potatoes. We left full and happy. Definitely would return when we are in Kamloops again. $55 for two of us — one had coffee.
A few locals told us this was the place to be for breakfast in Kamloops and it was definitely delicious! It’s clear this is a local favourite, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the sweet potato bowl which I enjoyed a lot. The portions were large and the eggs were delicious!
Wonderful service. I had the strawberry shortcake French toast which was amazing. My husband had the chive-on eggs benny which he immensely enjoyed. The Cherry Hill coffee was smooth. I had the dirty chai which was new to me and I was not disappointed.
We had the traditional breakfast and the stuffed strawberry French toast and both were excellent. Service was great. It quite a busy place but food came quickly :
This place has become an absolute favourite. The first time I ordered cayenne in the rain and it was amazing. The staff is very attentive and accommodate any special requests made. The second time around I had the load me up bowl and now I am waiting to go back to try the benny. I believe its one of the best places to have breakfast in Kamloops.
