Visiting from Victoria & thought to stop in and do some work. Ordered my coffee, and then asked for the wifi which they dont have odd as this is the 1st time experiencing this and was told it's shaw open or telus. Staff wasn't overall friendly with customers, but they laughed and joked around with themselves, as it felt the barista that served me didn't want to be there. Not a lot of parking near by, but very convenient if you're walking. The rating is mainly because it should be a friendly/happy environment when getting coffee, as it is someone's start or end of the day.
Nice looking shop located in a good place, very nice food. It’s not very expensive for the good food. Would recommend!
Has a pleasant atmosphere and is a popular downtown Cafe to stop and have lunch at. Is on a bustling street corner and always seems busy. There is a variety of baked iitems. Tried the beef barley soup...it's thick but contains a a little too much pepper. Comes with a bun. Is almost $8 for a small bowl. Kind of pricey. The apple strudel is very good. In all is a nice place to have lunch. Has rustic decor with old fashioned hardwood flooring & live plants to give it a homey touch. I have been here twice now and would come again.
Ample seating, good space to sit and catch up with people or get some work done. As far as food/drinks go - the mocha was not very good and the baked good I got was quite dry. They do offer a lot of different food options so something else might be better than what I got.
Not hugely impressed based on how rad it looked upon first checking it out and seeing it from the outside. Large coffee is pretty small and tasted quite average, whilst the banana bread together around 10 bucks was really dry. Apart from that, very nice decor and good location.
As always vic's has an amazing atmosphere and service. Can't wait for spring when their outdoor seating is set out.
Fancier than i need, and more expensive than i can handle, but that's a me problem not a them problem. what I've had there has been tasty. and their prices probably ACTUALLY reflect the effort and ingredients, from the taste of things. they have streamlined table clearing and payment, so it's a nice place to go.
One of a number of great coffee shops in the downtown Pleasant staff, good coffee and muffins, etc. Seating is comfortable and roomy, patio seating is the usual for interesting people watching.
The staff are just divine, sweet lil souls. Everything is delish. But those breakfast bagels, and the dirty chai are top notch.
Really good breakfast options and great espresso and Americano
