Great location and vibe, as with all 1 Hotels. A bit loud inside the bar itself and very crowded for a Monday afternoon. The drinks are great and so is the sushi here. The service however is definitely something they can work on. Our server had forgotten to bring us our drinks and we waited for 30 minutes to get them. We expected better service considering the price, location, and the consistently amazing service at all other 1 hotel locations.
The view from this rooftop is amazing but the food and drinks are just average. I don’t think it’s worth spending money when you can go somewhere else. The service isn’t great either. Our waiter forgot our order, mixed up the bills and it took a little while to get the bills corrected. It was a little embarrassing hosting a event to catch up with my friends who flew in. Parking: There is a parking spot very close to the restaurant.
I visited Harriet’s Rooftop at Hotel 1 this past Friday for drinks. Firstly, it’s a little hard to find. Google maps brings you to the main restaurant in Hotel 1, but the entrance is actually through the main lobby beside Casa Madera. You’ll walk in and take an elevator up to the rooftop. The bar and seating area itself is gorgeous. It’s absolutely scenic, a great place for pictures, and very vibey. The food and drinks are expensive, and they are small portions. Expect to pay for the atmosphere and experience of going. My drink was good I got the purple rain, but it was nothing mind blowing for $22. I find this pretty average for a cocktail in Toronto at a nice place - but the drink itself wasn’t anything special. We didn’t order food, but it was mostly seafood. We saw lots of plates come out and the presentation was always nice. The servers were all very friendly, but the service was exceptionally slow. We were there for about an hour and a half and only had one drink each at a table for two. It was clear our server forgot to bring our bills, as it took half an hour for them to come after we requested them. The dress code is dress to impress - this is definitely more dressy at night. Our reservation was at 8pm and we came in dress pants, sneakers and dressy tops. This was pretty on par with other guests, there was also a fair amount of sundresses. For 9pm after I would come in heels and a cocktail dress or floor length dress, even for women. Men, no jeans for sure. I would come back for a special occasion or niche night out. It’s fun to do once or twice for the experience of going. I wouldn’t come on a night you have a timeline if you need to be somewhere else as you will likely be at Harriet’s longer than you’d expect.
Amazing evening at Harriet’s! From the food to the atmosphere to the service. All first class! Fun, and polished everything was spot on!! The music and the vibe were chill and swank without going overboard. Get the scallop roll! Tabi our server is a gem, five star service!! Fun, informative and passionate… heck even her recommendation for Sunday brunch was perfect! Try School Highly recommend Harriet’s!
Came here just for the cocktails. You don’t get the best views of the CN tower but the pool glowing purple and blue at night is pretty cool. Highly recommend the Blushing Geisha and the Yuzu Shizo Mojito if you’re into fruitier cocktails. Cocktails here ain’t cheap, price ranges from $18-24. They have some big ticket cocktails that are $200-300 in which you could share with your group. Never tried but even if I had a big group, I can’t justify this price tag. 1Hotel is so beautiful, I love the boho decors and the scent they’ve created at the lobby. Makes me feel like I’m somewhere down south at a luxury hotel! Losing a star as the place was packed and we were kind of standing the entire time by the bar. Bartenders were amazing and professional!
Nice views of the 6. The shrimp was seasoned so well!! The sushi was fresh and filling. Our server was the sweetest personFood: 5/5
Harriet's Rooftop on Wellington Street West Suite C in Toronto left an indelible impression on my visit last night. This hidden treasure promises an extraordinary evening. The real star of the show is the breathtaking panoramic view of Toronto's skyline, which truly comes alive as the sun sets and the city lights twinkle. This mesmerizing backdrop, combined with the rooftop's chic decor, creates an enchanting atmosphere perfect for romantic dates or memorable gatherings with friends. The service, cuisine, and cocktails further elevate the experience. Harriet's Rooftop offers a unique blend of cityscape charm and gastronomic delight, ensuring an unforgettable visit.
Dear Harriet's Rooftop Manager, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding an unpleasant incident that occurred during my recent visit to Harriet's Rooftop. I believe it is essential to bring this matter to your attention so that you can address it appropriately and ensure that other patrons do not have to endure a similar experience. My party and I had been looking forward to dining at your restaurant, having heard excellent reviews about the beautiful environment and good service. However, our visit took an unexpected turn due to the behavior of one of your waitstaff members. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated promptly, which initially set a positive tone for our dining experience. My friend and I came to have afternoon tea, but something very dramatic happened - my friend and I because I was rudely kicked away while taking photos in a restaurant! First of all, I want to clarify that there were very few people in the restaurant when we went there, so it didn’t disturb anyone else’s dining experience at all. We used a camera to take pictures at first, but the waiter had no objection. About an hour later, the waiter saw that we had been taking pictures, and she said we were not allowed to use the camera or we would be charged. Then we left politely. We walked through the elevator to take pictures outside. We thought it was not part of the restaurant. But this time the waiter was very rude and asked us to go out directly, with a very bad attitude. She evicted us without even listening to our explanation. First of all, we didn't know that this place was also a restaurant and we weren't allowed to take pictures. Secondly, even if we really violated the rules, why should we use such a mean tone to the guests? I paid for the meal and tipped well, I spoke to the waiter in a polite manner, and I got kicked out? This incident significantly marred what was supposed to be an enjoyable evening for my party and me. We believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect, courtesy, and professionalism, regardless of the circumstances. I understand that everyone has off days, and it is possible that the waiter was having a difficult time. However, it is crucial to maintain a certain level of professionalism in the hospitality industry, where customer service is paramount. Hoping that you will take appropriate action to address the issue. I believe that your restaurant has the potential to offer an outstanding dining experience, and it is my sincere hope that you will use this feedback to improve the quality of service and ensure that no other customers have to endure such a negative encounter. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I look forward to hearing from you and hope that you will take the necessary steps to address this issue. Sincerel customer

Went in for an office event… was pleasantly surprised by the space and views … the food quality was quite good and the servers were friendly and courteous. Special shout out to Zoey at the bar and another server who was really polite … didn’t get her name. Overall if you want to celebrate with great Vistas of the city and also enjoy great food and drinks quality … great place to check out!
