I wish I could choose star below one, I used to live at 3520 Millwoods Road-The manager over there named MOHAMMAD is really a super rude person in the world. He has no sense to talk to anybody. He will be nice to you just for the day when he will show you a property, after that if you will reach to him about anything, he will be mad at you, they didn’t returned our security deposit too. When he came to check apartment for any damage and all, he couldn’t found any. Still they did the same thing with others too. Please be aware everybody, don’t ever think about living there. I think this would be my first negative review about something
I was living in Har-Pars building and left due to a daughter in Stage 4 cancer. The property manager and maintenace manager knew all about it. I was sitting by her bed she is 29 xancer and 2 children 7 and 4. So they asked me to fix a lock. I dispatched the locksmith ansd when he arrived they cancelled. I called and said why you know about my daughter I went out of my way to help. Some companies are just bad. Dont stay or do work with them they lie.
This is the first 1 star review I’ve ever given. We lived on Dunluce Road Royal Castle and would never recommend this company to anyone. The property manager is unprofessional, unreasonable and untrustworthy. She showed us the unit a month before our move in date and pointed out damages that would be fixed by the time we moved in, promised the carpets would be steam cleaned, and that the entire unit would be professionally cleaned. This was clearly not the case when we moved in. There was writing on the walls, a thick layer of dirt/grime on top of cabinets, stains on the carpet, and rodent FECES all throughout the basement. We realized a couple days after signing the lease that there has been an ongoing mouse infestation that had not been dealt with at all prior to us moving in. After many attempts at getting these issues rectified, to no avail, we moved out as soon as the lease was up. Upon giving our notice 4 weeks early, the property manager dropped a single notice at our door stating that she will potentially be entering our home anytime from 9am-5pm, for the next 30 days. No privacy. This is not legal. Clearly, that’s not a concern here. We took it upon ourselves to have the mouse feces professionally removed, cleaned the carpets and left the unit FAR cleaner than we had entered it. After all this, the property manager insisted that she would have to have a professional cleaning company come in after our move out, which she would deduct from our damage deposit. I was very sceptical that she was actually going to hire anyone, as our walk through was 2 days prior to the new tenants moving in. Not likely for a professional cleaning company to come in with one days notice. Despite this, we agreed with the promise that no more than $250 would be deducted from the damage deposit. We waited two weeks to receive our deposit back. Nothing. We had to reach out to them. Only to find out it had not even been processed yet. According to the Alberta website, the damage deposit is required to be returned within 10 days. When the deposit was finally sent back, nearly $500 was deducted for “cleaning”. We insisted on proof of this cleaning with an invoice. They could not provide one, and ended up returning the entire damage deposit. Our property manager was caught in a lie. No cleaning was ever done, as suspected, and they were scamming us out of our money. Our neighbours also had a roach infestation. I will say, Christina who we dealt with at head office was extremely helpful and kind in this stressful situation. Huge thanks to her.
Kinda clean apartment, I say that because no one has cleaned up the blood on the door hallway as of yet, been about a month now. Also, I moved into a pet free building and there is a cat above me on the 2nd floor. I'd attach the picture for proof. Cat plays all nite above my bedroom. Lack of sleep due to cat waking me up from a dead sleep several times thru the nite. I was lied too. Management told me it could be worst, I could have kids above me. Yeh right
Moving into Ridgewood Park was the best choice I could have made. The sense of security I have gained living in the building has been great, my children and I highly value the security alarms and locked building doors. The on-suite laundry room has made household chores much easier. The landlords and building managers are very friendly, and put our concerns as their top priority. The buildings are clean and well maintained. My family and I feel very welcome and cared for in this community. I highly recommend Harpar Investments to my friends and family. - Shannon D.
I have lived in the Ridgewood Manor apartment building in Mill Woods for close to 2 years now and I've never had much to complain about. At one point I had an issue with fridge in my room and the property manager Muhammad arranged for a replacement in a timely manner. Whenever I needed anything fixed, the response great too. The parking lot has also been safe as there has been no complaints of people's car being broke into or vandalized since I've been here. Overall my experience has been good and the property manager had being great and helpful as well. I would recommend the Ridge Wood Manor building managed by Har-Par investments!
I have been living in Har Par Investment properties for 4 years now and the building Managers and staff have ALL been very friendly, approachable, helpful and attentive. I have felt safe in their buildings and their properties are well maintained inside and outside even when at the end of the month, the garbage bins run full after tenant moves. Keep up the great service!
Been staying at Ridgewood Manor for almost 2yrs now, had search for other apartments in the city before going here and so far I have no regrets all. Price is fair compare to others, management is great, neighbors are very friendly, quite and respectful. Parking area is good, take note it's free and got electrical outlets. Our landlord, Muhammad, is very friendly, and always do his best when you need something to get fixed in your unit.
Living in Ridgewood Manor Apartments for 2 years, very convenient place. Small and tidy apartment, fully furnished. Starting with good communication with manager. Always try to help out the tenants with problems as soon as possible. Living here is the best decision I ever made.
I have currently been living in the Ridgewood manor building for almost a year. the rooms are really spacious rooms. the whole floor is laminate. the car park is secure, I have never had a problem with vandalism or theft. good communication from the manager Mohamed who always leaves us a word or a message before any intervention in the building. Also always available when needed. I recommend this building to any family who likes peace and space.
