The day we moved in we discovered cockroaches & they had “never” had a complaint before. Sure enough we looked up the reviews on our place & there was a lengthy history. Great place to rent if you want some little friends that come with it.
It seems that people only leave rental management reviews when they have something bad to say. We've been renting from Laidley management for three years now and they are SO GREAT! We've lived in two separate spaces with them. The woman who runs our building is very professional, friendly, just an overall good person. We've gotten to know a few other tenants in the building and everyone really enjoys the management representative Pamela. The building is always clean, well maintained. We had a few plumbing issues this year and whenever an issue arises, Pamela is on it ASAP and ensures we are helped in a timely manner. We are moving this month and we'll genuinely miss dealing with management. That's not something you often hear about a property management company! Definitely recommend renting in Century Ridge Apartments, also recommend the management group as a whole.
Laidley has managed my building for the past decade and they have always done an excellent job. Nancy T. Has always been reponsive and helpful. Pam the resident manager is excellent as well and i am lucky that they are involved with the building.
I have a unit in Belmead east and I've always found the staff at laidley to be reasonable and fairly diligent. Thank you, Michelle
These people do unprofessional conduct of business. I rented a unit for 3 years. When I started renting it hadn't had carpets cleaned, the walls were damaged and the room had a glycol leak behind the wall near my bed. It was under construction for 2 months with workers entering my room. I was NOT reimbursed any rent or discounted for the inconvenience. NOW, upon moving I have been stuck with an extra months rent for "Improper Notice" meanwhile the "Rental Agreement" states that the tenancy agreement "terminates" on the date i vacated, thus "Notice" is NOT required. In addition they charged me for a carpet replace I expected cause it was ruined more than double the cost of a typical replace for a condo this size. I suspect a friend does carpets for them and / or it wasn't even replaced and they're simply keeping money. Not a friendly way to do business or gain repeat clients and renters. I would discourage anyone from renting from this Property Management Group.
I have never dealt with a worse group in my entire life. Despite explaining my situation time and time again, I am blacklisted from *all* their managed buildings. The vindictive landlord in charge of the complex I was in decided to give me an eviction notice. Sounds bad, right? Well, two things: 1 the time of eviction was post-expiration of my lease and 2 the reason was because of an signed agreement we came to based upon my economic hardship at the time. Of course, they don't care that I wasn't actively evicted or the reason for such action.
I strongly advise anyone who needs to rent a place DO NOT rent any buildings that Laidley Management runs. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I could....I just want to warn future renters that if your looking to buy a house after renting, stay from away from any properties that this company manages.This management is very unprofessional and does illegal acts that will cause you headaches in the future, and will stop you in tracks of buying a house.Im surprised they are still a running business, but I don’t see them lasting in the future.
I have nothing but good to say about this group. My previous management firm was not capable of completing a simple task like assigning a vehicle spot. Laidley was introduced to the fold about 2 years ago and have turned things around for us significantly. Although we did get hit with a special assessment, I would say it was due to the lack of responsibility from the previous management firm. But since the assessment has been spent, it is very visible that our money is being spent on things that are useful and make sense. For example, little did many know, but half of the fire hydrants on the grounds were not operable. Laidley took this as a priority one. fixed them and now they work. 3 weeks after the hydrant repair, there was a fire below my unit and had the hydrant not been working, more damages could have been sustained, and I would have lost everything. Just one example. Keep up the good work Laidley.
