Harmony Donut Shop

Such delicious donuts that were both dense and light altogether if that makes sense?! When I went at 3pm they were still making fresh donuts out of their little ancient machine (you’ll see when you get there). At 3pm there were six flavours to choose from and I’m not sure if there are usually more but I chose one of each: strawberry, orange, coconut, lemon, maple and chocolate. The lemon and coconut were my favourites. The cake batter was amazing - the dough is lightly fried so the inside was fluffy and a little bit dense but when you bite into it you’ll be shocked at how many you could eat in one sitting (I ate three!!) and hence them being so “light yet dense”. The outside of the shop has two parking spots so it was a little inconvenient and they only take cash so make sure you have some! The since of the shop is dark and a little dingy but that adds to the charm. We went with a guy that’s been coming to the donut shop for over 25 years and he proclaimed “and not one thing has ever changed since then”, and when you get there you’ll see what he means. It’s a little shop that doesn’t look at all like a donut shop on the outside (resembles an antique store actually) but go in and grab some donuts! I made the mistake of getting only 6, so make sure you leave with at least a dozen!

I have to say that these are the BEST cake donuts I have ever had. I have no idea how they can make them so delicious, but they are absolutely amazing. The store is so unique and the owner is so friendly. If you like donuts, you HAVE to try this place out. I travel from Surrey just to get donuts here 😬😆

I have lived on the north shore for over 10 years and I have recently discovered the BEST DONUTS EVER!!! I love supporting local business. I can not believe I have lived thus long with out knowing about this place. But they have made a lifer out of me! I love the donuts and the ppl that run Harmony's.

3 words to simply make everyone's life easy: BEST DONUTS EVERRRRRR!!!! Made fresh everyday, slightly crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, the perfect amount of various sweet icing topped with varieties of sprinkles, coconut, peanuts, almonds etc. Seriously you can not beat this place - it is to die for. They aren't overly sweet either. I can devour an entire box in minutes if I don't offer it to others 😶

WOW! These are the only donuts I will ever need. The dough is slightly crunchy on the outside, and each flavour is ridiculously delicious. The plain sugar coated ones were still warm when we ate them. Very affordable, too!
