Happy Jack’s

Dined here with family recently and I had the thundering tenders, which came with four piping hot chicken tenders, a nice honey mustard dipping sauce, and a mountain of fries. Delicious! Our server recommended the ice cream sandwich for dessert, and it was totally worth it. My husband got the peanut butter cup, which, in a nice surprise, was both vegan and gluten-free. The portions are generous, the staff is very friendly, there's lots of parking out front, and it's an all around awesome location to unwind and have dinner with family and friends! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town! Vegetarian options: They have both vegetarian and vegan-friendly options for entrees and dessert.

Great new eatery!! Well over due in our community. Fantastic menu. Food is fast, fresh, and delicious. I highly recommend the clubhouse sandwich which is stacked high, and includes fresh roasted chicken. Also, the spinach salad. The staff are friendly, efficient, and attentive. This is my new go to place for “comfort food”. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly. Parking: Tons of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access.

We had dinner there on July 14 - the restaurant has only been open for a week. Attentive service and very good food. Generous portions - fish tacos and the spicy chicken burger. It was hard to choose a dessert to share. Mini churros were very yummy! A great addition to Parksville's restaurant offerings. A lot of thought has gone in to the layout, decor and dining furniture. An upbeat vibe. Parking: Lots and lots of parking right in front.

Amazing ambience and great food. Lots of variety and interesting combinations to try out. Loved all the side choices and the hand-cut and endless fries were excellent! We even had a view of the ocean from our table. Totally family friendly and our kids had a blast picking their own meals…the “fully loaded” ice cream was obviously a hit with them as well. We had a great night out and even enjoyed a bit of time outside before dinner kids climbed the tree and explored around while we waited for our table Great spot and a way to support a local small business!

Enjoyed the Burger. Our Servers Wendy and Kienna were amazing. We ended the night at the bar with Amber and had a great time enjoying new shooters. I will be back for food and drinks very soon

I thought the servings wouldn't be so large. It was huge servings of fish and chips! The best part was the dessert. You have to try the mini churros with chocolate fudge dip. It's nice to add new place in Parksville.

I'll give this a 4 star , as was our first time at this establishment. Was good for our first experience. You get bottomless fries , which is a deal. We had fish and chips, nice big pieces of fish and tonight was all you can eat fish and chips Had a second piece of fish , but the second seemed to be more greasy than the first piece. But we will definitely go back and try something else from the menu. Our waitress was nice and friendly Nice new restaurant!!!

I would probably eat here every day if i could. The menu is fantastic. So many options for different burgers etc. Endless fries option an awesome bonus. This place has become my favourite place to eat. And i am so excited to see when the rest of the menu will get released. Absolutely love it here. The staff are great. And they appear to have worked out all the kinks from opening up. Love it, love it, love it. From the handcrafted furniture, to the ambience and great helpful staff. This place is top-notch. The burgers are thoughtfully created. The portion sizes are quite large. Every time I try something new there i am delighted. Thanks Happy Jack's owner and staff. For a wonderful experience.

Another great visit to Happy Jack's. It was packed full. We only had to wait 5-10 mins for a table. Appy came out fast. Took a little longer for the mains, but like I said it was packed. If you are extremely hungry, try the Houston burger. A massive 2 patty burger. I included a picture. We decided to try the new restaurant today. Burgers were excellent, so were the fries and poutine. Dry ribs to start were also excellent. Service was great and food came out in a timely manner. If you are in French Creek, check these guys out!

We have been twice since it opened and really like everything. My husband had the burger both times and he said it was one of the best he’s ever had. I had the pulled pork both times and it was good but could definitely use a little more sauce . Had the coleslaw and it was fresh but dressing could use a little boost, didn’t seen to have any flavour to it. Servers both times have been excellent and we will definitely be returning. Hopefully they will be successful here.
