Foods taste well. The garlic chicken was very nice. The fried rice was super. The broccoli was nice too. Surprisingly the eel fish rice bowl was meh…. And that one is IMO too expensive for the quality and taste. Otherwise I will give a five star as this is not a cheap place. Service was known to be under expected.
The food is amazing and portions are very generous, but don't expect service or ambiance. Definitely call to reserve and be on time, I saw people loosing their reservation because they were 10 min late, they will let you have the table for 90 min. But the food is so good, even the need to perform some class A parallel parking on Kingsway won't stop me from coming back.
you know this place is good when it's packed no matter what time you come, you hear other customer speaking Cantonese and all the noise from the kitchen. love it.
Busy restaurant made sitting tight, noisy and crowded, you need hurry to finish the food because they need the seats for next reservation. Food are in good taste and good price.
Great food and service. Every dish we had were amazing especially the “Whole Braised Chicken w/ Crispy Sticky Rice”. But then I’m a fan of anything “Sticky Rice”. nnJust like I’m a fan of anything “salty duck egg yolk” which bring me to my next favour dish “Prawns with Salty Duck Egg Yolk”. HUGE prawns and just the right amount of duck egg flavour.nnWill definitely be back to try their “Lobster in Lotus Leaves with Sticky Rice” & “House Special Chinese Escargot”.nnWe also had complimentary house soup and dessert. Always a plus when you get free food.
