Don't know why I haven't been here before. This HK cafe gives big portions and has good quality and taste. And to top it off the prices are still very fair. The two older ladies at the front were nice and efficient. Altho it can be pretty packed here, and not really my vibe, the take out was great. Will be back! Their lunch combos comes with drink and soup. 4.5 stars
Been going here for years. Great milk tea or lemon tea, or asian buns.
Traditional HK style bakery restaurant which serve breakfast, lunch, buns and drinks with reasonable price!
Some foods is good but very dirty, be careful what you eat , some food can be poison, my father went there for lunch and after few hours he doesn’t feel good
Nice spot to eat a quick and inexpensive breakfast or lunch, and they open quite early compared to other cafes. The beef brisket rice noodle was good however I do not recommend the dishes that state they are pho it is not pho and the soup smelled weird. If you’ve never been here before, you order at the front, find a spot to sit down, they will call the name of the drink you ordered which comes with your food and you have to pick it up at the front but your food will be delivered to you. Their bread was quite good and cheaper compared to other bakerys; the durian bun was tasty and their egg tarts are flaky of the outside and jiggly on the inside. I would give this place more stars had it not been for the lady with glasses and a ponytail who pressured us to buy more bread and said that their bread is cheaper than other places note that I had already bought 7; I even overheard her tell a middle aged man that because he’s “big” he should eat more and therefore should buy more bread, this is so unnecessary and her sales tactic just wants me to buy less bread. Also, this place can become like a zoo when it is packed and there is no one to tell you where to sit.
Used to come here all the time when I was younger. Obviously prices have had to go up in the last few years, with buns costing closer to $2 each these days. But this place holds a small place in my heart and has the best pineapple buns I’ve ever had!
Genuinely surprised that this bakery makes one of the best oriental buns I have ever tasted. No wonder there are lots of people coming for their breakfast/lunch. They also provide an in-house sitting area for their more "hardcore" breakfast.
I live around the area and this is my go to place for quick and cheap bite. I like their soy sauce Fried noodles, beef brisket rice noodles, or Singaporean Fried noodles!!!! Super tasty
I’ve been their customer for more than 10 years. They provide great deals of food, they are always my “quick, cheap, tasty” selection when I want to grab a quick lunch!!
Food and prices are ok, but the deal-breaker is the new lady pestering customers pushing them to buying buns each and every time. People buy whatever they want and make their own choices without needing to be spammed. She does this to customers obviously ordering takeout only and to customers already looking at the buns and pestering them about other buns. There’s plenty of other choices out there without this nuisance.
