Halton Homestead Solid Wood Furniture

I went to the Brick to look at a King sized bed. I went up to the bed and ran my nail across the headboard (sorry lol) and the "wood" came right off to reveal plastic. It's cheap material that is being used. I called Halton Homestead and the owner went through so much with me..over the phone! I was impressed by the time she spent with me. Hubby and I went in and got to pick out the wood, stain and colour. This bed cost the same or maybe a bit more for a custom solid wood bed. Hubby is a big guy so we can't sleep on a crappy IKEA bed. The down side is that you have to wait 6-8 weeks. We couldn't wait for it but it was so worth it! Their furniture is absolutely beautiful. We will not be buying furniture anywhere else. You have the option of keeping the original saw marks which give the furniture so much character.

we recently got a custom made dining set and a hutch. Very happy with the purchase. The owner is very polite and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Bought our dining table here. The quality and customization of our table will be a talking piece for years! The owners were really patient with us and gave us many options for payment (you can split cash, debit and credit). Allow 6-8 weeks for product to be made.
