Ordered: Chicken and shrimp Hakka noodles no egg. Sweet and sour pineapple chicken. Thai mango salad. Crispy chilli beef dry Total with tip & tax roughly $50 Beef was not crispy and barely flavourful solid 4/10 would pass Thai mango salad was decent sweet and sour pineapple chicken was average and not very sweet Noodles were best of them all but a bit on the salty side would drive down to Milton for Royal Garden
It has been a long time since I wrote a five-star review, but Hakka Aroma truly deserves it! The ambience is nice, however there were uncleaned crumbs on our chairs. The food is simply extraordinary! The Indo-Chinese food is unique, and the Indian food is delightfully authentic! The portions are very large for such reasonable prices, which is a very good thing! As a vegetarian, I was so surprised to see so many meat-free options on the menu! Normally when we eat from Indo-Chinese restaurants in North America, the prices are expensive, and the food gives stomachaches, but Hakka Aroma has rightfully proved us wrong! Like I said earlier, the ambience is nice. One thing that was bad was that there were crumbs on our chairs. The bathroom is neat, and so are the plates, cups, and cutlery. The staff is oh so sweet, and they went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful experience, and we did! I am definitely revisiting, and you should too! Vegetarian options: There are numerous delicious vegetarian options which are sure to attract vegetarian customers!
We are a big fan of Hakka Chinese food and always try new places. They have just opened recently, approx 3 months old. We are sure they are working hard to win the trust of the customers. With respect to the location, they have chosen a plaza which is inside community. The speed limit of the roads is limited 40 KMPH. However, due to the plaza they have ample parking spaces available. Infact the best part is that the Handicapped accessible parking space is right in front of the restaurant. But they do not have handicap accessible doors and washroom. The service of the restaurant is really good. We went for pickup, they are very soft and down to earth. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. They haven't maintained any specific theme in terms of ambiance but it was nice and cozy place to eat. The entrance to the restaurant is very nicely decorated and the double doors will definitely help in the winters. They have 2 washrooms but none of them is handicapped accessible. We were very happy when we saw that our bill was $28 for 2 items which is very reasonable compared to any other Hakka or Thai restaurants. However, we believe this also impacts the quality of food. They have a great variety of items on their menu. Not just all the Hakka options, they also have Indian Street Food chaat items, Soups, Tandoor, and various veg & non-veg dishes. We ordered Dragon Paneer and Shezwan Noodles. The quality of food was mixed, one item was good but the other wasn't as much. The quantity of the food was really good. The 2 items we ordered could easily make up for 3 to 4 adults. Dragon Paneer - this item did not meet our expectations. The quality of paneer was not that great, it very hard. Also the preparation was very dry with no cashews as the name suggests. 3/5 Shezwan Noodles - the quality of the Noodles is really good. The noodles were cooked well too but not spicy. We recommend if you would like to eat spicy please request them to make it spicy. The noodles did not have very many veggies and probably why the price is reasonable. Jasmine Rice - this is probably the best item of the all. The Jasmine Rice came with the dragon paneer and were very well prepared. Generally, we do not expect the rice to be so amazing. But this was a really good surprise. We asked about the cooks, they mentioned that all of their staff are from Nepal and hence our expectations went really high. The rating suggests the same too. Therefore, we have decided to order one more time. This time non-veg items, maybe chicken and some seafood and also the chaat items. Hoping to get better quality food next time. The price of the food is definitely the reason but the quantity of vegetables is proportional to that. Tagging as many pictures as I can. Vegetarian options: They have lots of veg options available. They also have chat options. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is super clean and they also have high chair for kids. Parking: As they are part of a plaza, there are lots of parking spaces available. The handicapped parking spot is right in front of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: They DO NOT have wheelchair accessible doors. They also do not have wheelchair accessible washroom.
This is a very cute and family friendly place. Very tasty Indian food options. We mostly tried the Hakka options and were very happy with them. The staff is also very friendly and warm. Must visit if you are in the area... Parking: Common parking for all businesses
Location, interior and customer service was excellent. We have tried this restaurant first time while driving to GTA but this location is not far from 401. Food quality, price and portion is far better than similar restaurants we had been. As well as food taster was same as authentic Indo-Chinese food. Recommended to try
We were passing by and came across this restaurant and we were curious how does it look inside because from outside the food on the pictures looked good. We decided to try something small as we were not hungry. We were greeted by a friend lady, forgot her name. The first thing we noticed was how clean and welcoming the space was. The water that was served on a glass jar was the best i ever had in a restaurant. We ordered some soup but there was a lot on the menu that we wanted to try.The soup was spicy but so good and filling Vegatable . It was served in a medium bowl and there was a small one so that you can potion for yourself. Definitely going back to try some more dishes and their prices are so affordable . It is a great place if you like Indian with a twist of Chinese food . Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian options according to the menu Parking: Lots of parking available
Had the best experience. Amazing food, made it feel right at home. Staff were really nice, friendly and very good service. Will definitely recommend for some Indian/Nepali style cuisine…
The food was great and the service was friendly. We had the veg chili momo dumplings, dragon manchurian balls, veg hakka noodles and veg fried rice. All food was delicious, especially the dragon manchurian balls So happy this place is here. Always looking for veggie options
Food was great..quantity was good...food was not over spicy...restaurant was clean and staff was courteous..vegetarian options were amazing..will visit again
Horrible experience. My hakka noodles order had fungus on it. Totally unexpected. And worst taste ever. Please dont order from here, if you are expecting hygenic order. Would give negative rating if had option. Wastage of money. Would think twice before believing on google reviews.
