Gyubee Japanese Grill

Great experience at this restaurant! The service was very fast and efficient. The beef and shrimp were my favourite. It was a fantastic experience. But if you are in a group of 5 or less, make sure you like up early. There is almost always a line during dinner time. I would definitely return.

It was an amazing dinner experience at Gyubee Mississauga location. Very convenient location with plenty of parking by the restaurant. It was a very busy place so unless you have a reservation, it will be hard to get in. We had a reservation and saw dozen walk-ins that could not be seated. The food was amazing! Fresh and quality meat and seafood. The servers were very efficient and they check on you frequently. This is all you can eat place but you get 2 hours from the first serve. Trust me, this is enough time since they are efficient and keeps serving you the whole 2 hours you are there. The only thing I did not like was the they only take Canadian cash and debit cards. I was traveling from the US and didn’t have either. Definitely will go back next time I am in Toronto!

AMAZING experience. Although the waitlist is a bit tough on Fridays, you can enter your name on yelp and track your progress. Service is phenomenal and I can safely say I’ll be returning. Our server Kim had excellent recommendations and the food is absolutely 5 stars. This is a great establishment and I hope you open up more locations. 10/10 will return

We had been trying to get a table at Gyubee since a while now. There is always a line up and wait and after 2 unsuccessful attempts our 3rd attempt was a success since we finally figured out the wait list booking system. This was my first experience with a grill your own food type restaurant. We ordered quite a lot as we didn’t know their quantities but after experience I can say for sure don’t order a lot of meats start slow and build up or it just goes to waste! The pork sausage was my fav meat item on the menu but there were many other flavourful items. I loved the food however I prefer to have my food cooked for me after this experience : nothing to do with a restaurant just a personal preference. Would highly recommend this spot

Fresh ingredients, very flavourful meat marinades and they change the grill once they see that it’s charred up. Very attentive staff, we did have to be put on a wait list since our party was big, but we were nearby and had a place to hang out to before our seats were ready. If you are a party of 5 or less, then it’s first come first serve basis, for groups 6 and above, you have to reserve. Everything was delicious, I just wish there were more sauces instead of just soy sauce. They have a spice blend but I didn’t like the smell of it so I didn’t try it. A must try is their drink called yuzu sawa, it’s very refreshing and it’s alcoholic but it’s a perfect palate cleanser. The clams are also very good. Highly recommended!

I had the best experience at Gyubee Mississauga. We made a reservation for 4PM and was promptly seated even though there was a large lineup! Our server Rose was extremely attentive, and considerate. She always asked if we needed anything else, and brought our food promptly. Our table never had empty plates as they were constantly being cleared. Best dinner ever

First time coming here and definitely will return. Our server, Kim, was absolutely fantastic and guided us through the process of what to order and what to do on your first time here. Definitely recommend to order most or all of the meat to try it out! Loved the beef, shrimp, and squid. Pork was good too! I have allergies to milk, eggs, & peanuts, and Kim made absolutely sure none of my allergens made it to the table. I really appreciate that! She was really friendly and offered help everywhere she could!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Absolutely everything was awesome. From the warm welcome, the amazing food and the exceptional, attentive server we had tonight. Only one small inconvenience was the noise level. Not a place for an quiet dinner, but then again, it was a Friday. One of the best experiences thus far for me.

Very busy location, so queue early! Best quality ayce JBBQ I've been to We came on a Monday night and it was already packed, so we had to wait about 30 minutes. Great service, they didn't forget any of our orders, and servers responded really quickly. They gave us more meat than we ordered, in fact. Quality is up to par with downtown locations. Amazing experience at Gyubee as usual!

I’ve been here twice, great place to eat with friends. This is probably my favourite place to go to for AYCE BBQ. Their meat selection is great and the flavours are just delicious! they’ve also got a good selection of veggies to grill. I also love the fact that you can get a melona bar for dessert! The service is good and overall the place is clean. Few things to note: - The tables are small, if you order a lot it’s difficult to put everything on the table. especially if you are a group of 4+… my group also cooked particularly slow lol - It is super busy can’t blame them but sometimes it’s hard to get without a wait and seating space is a bit tight so avoid bringing any big bags or anything of the sort.
