Excellent customer service. Store is always nice and clean, friendly customer service. The food was great: Jerk chicken perfectly seasoned, right amount of spices. Veggies are a bit overcooked, tho. Ox-tail was also great Overall, the dining experience was great. Pricing - excellent

Ordering was quick and easy, staff was very helpful in explaining what was the item I ordered. Finding a place to sit was quick as it was past noon on a weekday. I ordered a Jerk Chicken Sandwich which was by default spicy and definitely had a lot of kick to it. Luckily it came with a pop or water which helped. The portions to price reasonable as well. Definitely would go back again to try other different items on the menu.

The coleslaw was enough to feed 5 people feedback- cut down on the coleslaw portion it way too much. Honestly there was nothing Jerked about the chicken, this is the worst Jerk chicken I have ever tasted. Sorry they need to fix their recipe, it's was too wet. I honestly cannot called this Jerk chicken the tasted was hard to eat and the sauce on the rice didn't help either. The Coleslaw was fresh but had no taste.

Excellent, huge, spicy hot jerk chicken sandwich on coco bread. Quick service. Magnificent Michael Jackson soundtrack. Friendly staff. Good value $10 including pop.

It truly is the home of the Jerk Chicken because it tasted fire Their hot sauce is a must try it is spicy tho! they are located near Holt Renfrew on the second level & we love how this area is secluded from everything else. From the menu we ordered the Jerk Chicken Plate, Escovitch Fish Plate, Coleslaw Side and the Ackee Saltfish Rolls our ultimate favourite. The service was great, everyone was so kind to us, we’ll be back to try their vegetarian options soon

I REALLY wanted to like this place. The aesthetic is clean & nice. The service was great, girls were really friendly. BUT the food….. was a huge disappointment. There’s literally no flavour. Everything tasted fresh. It’s like they don’t have salt in their kitchen. Nothing was seasoned. Rice & peas: bland BBQ chicken: bland, tasted like bottled bbq sauce and it’s not even boned chicken. Was like it’s just chicken breast cut up. Coleslaw: bland Yikes. Will not be returning & wouldn’t recommend. This is not the flavour of Jamaican food.

I always come here with my family for authentic Jamaican food! The Jerk Chicken Sandwich and the Plate are well-flavoured and spicy without being too much. If you want some extra spice, you can always get the hot sauce on the side. And their Festivals are fried to perfection. Plus, the music is always great... makes you want to get up & dance! Roywoods is my favourite food spot at Square and I have a feeling it'll be open for a long time : Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator close by that is situated close to the restaurant.

First time here and will definitely be coming back! Had the small jerk chicken plate with coleslaw and a side of plantain. Big portions, chicken was flavourful, and I loved the plantain. Good service.

Wowww !! First time having this, definitely not my last… Ordered a large oxtail, rice & peas, jerk chicken wings, festival & mango carrot to drink. I must say I’m surprised with how amazing everything I ordered was !! The oxtail was soft & fall off the bone, the jerk chicken wings were sooo deliciously seasoned & even the festival was sooo addicting, it’s a good thing I went for 3 instead of 1 festival. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. I live down the street too & it’s about time there’s a Jamaican spot closer to home !!

One of the best jerk chicken and oxtail plate I've had in the city. if you like spicy food, you got to ask for their home made hot sauce on the side. Service is fair but the food is just delicious. The place is actually located in Gate 4 and not in Gate 7. Patty is pretty good as well
