We order dish by dish rather than their offered sets because we are able to try special small plates gyu sushi, spicy beef and only the protein that we like beef. The price is pretty steep but it is worthy as the meat is fresh and high quality. We nearly love everything that we had even the cocktail, except for the garlic noodle which is dry and its flavor is kinda off.
I’ve already been here a few times and each time has been amazing. The meats here are so tender and well marinated. I know a lot of people would prefer to go to an all you can eat spot, but the combos they give you here are more than enough food. They have so many good options on the menu that you can also add on. This has become my go to spot for Japanese BBQ. The service here is also very good, the hosts in the front are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Not recommended for vegans/vegetarians. There is a variety of vegetarian options, but I wouldn’t think it would be as filling. Parking: Free 4 hour parking in parking garage. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible for wheelchairs.
Food was way better than I ever expected because you already know japanese bbq is going to be pretty good. Our server Damian was kind, patient, and very attentive. Food came out quite fast despite a busy happy hour where they offer select discounts. We ordered some takoyaki on top of the chefs special for 2 and were very impressed. This place is a bit on the pricier end, but I think it's worth it and the ambiance is comfortable. Some flavours were also welcomingly unique. I would not recommend ordering individual items outside of happy hour pricing if you're looking for value
Joseph provided exceptional service. Let us know how long to cook each item for the best experience. The food itself was delicious. The grill turned itself off a few times but overall felt well taken care of.Food: 5/5
Fun experience.but I need your help and feedback . I had a difficult time with the meat sticking to the grill . I also would have liked something to clean the grill as it was getting burned . Also , I had the taste of gas in my food and I'm not sure why . I found it to be over priced my wife and I have 2 children under three years old and we found it a bit challenging to tend to their needs while also trying to cook our meal so I will say it's not the best place for families with children under 5 . There was a baby change table there and they do have high chairs. And if I'm not mistaken I think this restaurant is completely wheelchair accessible. There's a good vibe in there but the music was a touch loud for my liking. Maybe I'm just turning into a grumpy old man The green tea Tierra Mizzou cake was very nice. Total spent including tip and taxes set us back $150.
Japanese BBQ, served in courses We made a reservation a few weeks in advance, which was nice The parking lot was hard to find, you need to look for the signs - there is free parking for restaurant patrons From the menu it seems like the recommendation for portions is small, but it is actually quite accurate. The servers are very patient on explaining how to cook each cut of meat. Some of the salad was not fresh Overall good experience with everything else; prices similar to other kbbq places
This place was great. The food was excellent and great atmosphere. You can hang out for couple of beers or have the whole BBQ experience. Staff was very nice. You can park for free for a max of 4 hours in the indoor parking. However, the ticket given to us to validate the parking didn't work. So we had to pay out of pocket.Food: 5/5
Will never get tired of this place! Premium , fresh meat selections always! I know that they pay so much attention to the quality of their food because, not only are they consistent, but they just keep getting better and better! Their server Hannah is really nice, helpful and informative, and made the extra effort to assign us a new table and get my mom a new drink when we had a little accident and spilled one of our drinks. Definitely will come back again and again! i would give 6 stars if I could!
Visit there on Saturday for lunch time, they have happy hours from noon to 6pm, prices are slightly lower than regular prices. It isn’t too busy during our visit, servers are attentive, however the main orders are served slightly slow. We’re seated by window, good lighting and vibes. Order bbq chef option for 2, portions are generally ok, and the tastes are good! We don’t fee uncomfortably thirsty after having pieces of bbq meat. Personally like this over gyubee and kobi bbq, those are intensively marinated with flavoring and probably msg. I prefer the taste offered by Gyu kaku, it’s gentle and enjoyable! Also, the ventilation is good we don’t get our clothes smoked and smell after the dine. Overall, the dining experience is enjoyable! Ooh! They even offered to waive my parking fee since I park in the premise.
went here for a Christmas lunch, the place was too busy so make sure to have a reservation. It took a while for the food to arrive, but overall the meat are well flavored. A little pricey, but its worth it. +++ smores for dessert is a plus!
