We ordered online Fish Pakoras, Chicken Biriyani, Shami Kebab Platter and Beef Nihari. Only Beef Nihari made it up to the mark. Rest of the items were below average taste wise and presentation wise. Fish Pakoras were too salty and few of them were only fried batters, no fish inside!! Chicken Biriyani had two bones and one small meat piece. And the biriyani didn't look appetizing at all. The Shami Kebab Platter was the most disgusting looking dish. I think the photo says it all. However Kebab Taste was ok, I believe they can make it better.
My friend took me to this desi place for lunch. We ordered Shami kabab, steamed chicken and palak paneer. Steamed chicken and Shami kabab was good, palak paneer was ok too but wasn’t fresh. Tandoori roti had a very good taste.
We were searching for authentic hand slaughtered Zabiha Halal food options in the Metro Vancouver area and this restaurant was recommended by some locals. Note: this is in Surrey and definitely not Persian or Mediterranean cuisine This is Pakistani style cuisine....average quality, but seems to be quite popular and busy. Generally Google Maps takes you to the other side of the restaurant....they have more parking available on the far side. We tried Chicken Reshmi Kabab ...good Chicken Biryani ...below average but I compared it to real authentic Hyderabadi Biryani Fried fish pakoras.....good Chana Bhatura...below average Crispy fried chicken ....actually good Goat Karahi...average Burgers....average
I used to come here as a kid and the food was great. Recently came back and it was nothing as how I remembered. Nihari was so flavorless it was hardly edible. Biryani was not great either. My cousin found an uncooked piece of chicken in her butter chicken. The only redeeming things were the naan and chicken karahi. Will not come back
There was hair in channa, The qeema was cold and smelled bad which was served, they told food is ready, just 10 more minutes but it took 42 mins. The staff was rude, arrogant and zero customer service. Health wise and service wise, I strongly says do not go there, if you take food, take picture of it. Record your conversation when ordering the food, I do not recommend to go to this restaurant. They do not wear badges, so, we do not know who is who and they also do not give information to complain, I complained on the phone number given but in vain then I decided to put a review and I told them that I will be putting a review. Doesn't worth time and money spent there. Very poor Customer service and there were flies flying around the beef qeema. We complained but one of them just rolled their eyes like nothing happened and the other just didn't care if we were humans or not, acted as we were not there.
The food was really bad . Portion size is really small. And no mention as to that karahi chicken is bone in almost chocked eating it .Handi chicken has alteast 250 ml of oil floating on top .
Very good taste, healthy and fresh .
This is my second time I did this mistake and went to this place. You can’t even eat this food I swear all the food we ordered was from couple of days ago no taste at all. If you wanna waste your money go to this restaurant, this time I got my food to go otherwise I could get my money back
Very very poor service big No from my side for gulberg restaurant food is very cold and taste less naan is too much crispy crockery is not good used plastic plates no tissu box on the table food presentation is not good and very very slow service I'm not enjoy gulberg restaurant food .
Stumbled onto this restaurant through online food ordering platform and decided to give it a try. The price is very reasonable. Butter chicken cost less than $10! Granted it is smaller portion but still enough for two meals. The grill platter is good portion. Wished it came with rice instead of the fries which became soggy with the meat on top. Nothing spectacular about the food taste but an ok place to grab cheap, quick bite especially after finishing class at the nearby college.
