Lucky Horse Chinese Restaurant

I highly recommend this restaurant! :) The food is fresh and delicious, and the delivery time was a very short wait. 1/2 hr. from placing the order to my door, and the price and quantity of food was excellent. It arrived very hot and the delivery guy was polite and friendly. I am very pleased and feeling full and satisfied!

Swore we wouldn't order here again. Stupidly we did. Vermicelli Noodles were disgusting, watery, too spicy & major clumpy. Asked for extra lemon wedges, with prawns $1 extra per lemon wedge! And like always, we are both sick after eating it. Stomach cramps, sweating, vomiting.. and to think we paid $50 for a night and day of illness. Even the "free wonton soup" was nasty! On a positive, the delivery driver is kind courteous and a very polite.

The food here is good. Service is exactly what i expect whenever I go out eating in traditional authentic Chinese restaurants. Service is what you make it. The basics are supplied. But once your order is served your left alone. In all restaurants like this, once your meal is served, you are left alone, to enjoy that meal with family and freinds undisturbed. This is not bad or even poor service. It is actually very good service. It is just service of a different kind. If you want something more from the staff it is up to you to call attention to yourself. They aren't coming over to see if your water is full or you need more tea. As i have already said this is par for the course and patrons should enjoy it as part of the dining experience. The service is not what Is provided at other places. But then again This isn't Denny's either. I would have given 5 stars but the restaurant itself is showing some wear and tear. And I really am not fond of the location.

Excellent food and service, the delivery drivers are always kind. Always pleasant on the phone. I love ordering from them because they are a family run business and the food is delicious.

I've ordered from here a few times, and it's not been particularly good. Delivery is generally quick and the food is always hot, but quality can vary. The chow mein is decent but nothing special, while the fried rice is actually terrible. I gave it two attempts, both times it was dry as if it had been sitting in a warmer for too long instead of being prepped to order. For the listed appetizers, I've had the dumplings, squid, and sausage. The squid was very heavily seasoned and then fried, probably to make up for the fact it's not the best quality. I liked it except for one or two really chewy pieces. On the other hand, the Chinese sausage definitely wasn't too my taste. It was sweet. I've never had "Chinese Sausage" anywhere else so I couldn't say whether it's supposed to be like that or not, but I'm not a fan. The dumplings are bog standard, it would not surprise me if they are prefab. Beef and Broccoli, Chop Suey, Sweet and Sour Pork, and all the other standard Canadian-Chinese options are present, and about what you'd expect. If there are vegetables in the dish expect them to load up on those and skimp on the meat. Their chicken dishes were uniformly bad. They drown tough, cheap pieces of chicken in humongous layers of breading it's quite gross. Definitely not somewhere I'd order from in the future.
