Greenwood station is a station on line 2 bloor-danforth and is located at Danforth Ave. and Linsmore Crescent. The station is nothing really too special. It’s very simillar to Donlands Stn in terms of design.nnThe station has a bus bay in the fare-paid zone for only one bus route that goes south along Greenwood Ave. until Queen St. and then turns back around to the station. The station is interestingly where the same-named rail yard is to store the cars itself and the station outside was featured in the 2019 Superhero movie “Shazam!”nThe station doesn’t have disabled access and a second exit but the elevator to the subway platform and the Danforth exit will be built in the future, hopefully!nnAlso it’s pretty ironic that the station isn’t even located on the street of the station name. Its a 5 minute walk. Its pretty annoying.
Always under repair , escalators never work , ghetto tuck shop closed down .
It’s small but it’s exactly what the surrounding area needs and it fills its role well. A bland colour scheme and noticeable infrastructure quirks hold it back from a 5 star.
Greenwood? You should see a doctor about that, in fact good news! There's a train down stairs that can take you to a hospital! Convenience right!? Pretty nice place if you're not in a hurry to see a doctor, there are bus connections as well if you're into that kind of thing.
ALERT: exact change, old tickets or Presto card required to access the TTC. The TTC will ONLY be accessible using the PRESTO card in the future, but no dates available! City of Toronto, please get organized and clean up our city! No excuses, get organized and clean up your mess.
