Sherbourne Station isn’t the worst TTC stop, but it’s definitely not one of the most pleasant ones either. The location is convenient and connects easily to nearby areas, so if you just need to hop on the subway, it does the job. The platforms are fairly clean most days and trains usually arrive on time.nnThat said, the area around the station can feel a bit unsettling, especially later in the day or at night. There are often quite a few homeless individuals around the entrances and near the elevators. While I completely understand the city’s challenges and feel compassion for those struggling, it can make the station feel unsafe or uncomfortable for some commuters.nnThe elevators, unfortunately, are another story. They don’t always smell great, and they often feel neglected. I actually got stuck in the elevator once, and it wasn’t a great experience — no updates, poor ventilation, and it took a while before someone came to help. Ever since then, I try to avoid using it unless absolutely necessary.nnOverall, Sherbourne Station is functional but could really use better maintenance, a stronger security presence, and more consistent cleaning — especially around the elevator areas. It’s not terrible, but it definitely needs attention to make it feel safe and welcoming for everyone.
There is a bunch of homeless people around this area and theres not even a map upstairs in the road and literally nothing to give you directions on where to go. If your looking for another station to go to I suggest getting off the next station and just walk there cause its really bad there.
The station is just your usual subway station. It isn't equipped with elevators for the disabled and no bus terminal but the station has 2 exits with the second connecting conveniently to people north of bloor via bridge and the first housing the photo id centre which.... um not used anymore.
It kinda looks like a shaddy place. But it’s not that shaddy. It’s accessible to anyone .nBr careful if you are travelling at night specially from the glen rd side.
Smooth traveling as far as subways concerned.. Enjoyed my ride. Hope you do to.
