Terrible experiences here. Crazy people will try to follow you. Smells terrible. Can get very busy. Would try to avoid this place at night time especially if you are alone and feel generally vulnerable.
One of the most popular subway stations on Line 1 Yonge-University Line, Dundas Station has a lot of foot traffic to get to popular tourist locations like Yonge & Dundas Square, Eaton Centre, City Hall, and Nathan Philips Square. The iconic yellow walls with underground foot traffic to go to either side of the northbound and southbound transit. The subway is connected to the Atrium on Bay and Eaton Center via the PATH system!
Keddy the station inspector is AMAZING !!!!! Wow, what an incredible human being. He helped my mum & I get to the north bound side from the south bound, we had simply asked him for directions. My mother uses a walker & he literally walked with us through the mall, all the way to the other side. Both my mother & I were blown away by his generosity & kindness. Way to go TTC !
This is the chillest city-like area without the city crowd, traffic and rudeness of Tokyo or NYC. It's as good as it gets for a good balance of open-space, people and areas to shop. Good food a couple miles any direction. Also a some feels of old-town with some local cafes/restaurants/bars.
One of the most busy and exciting spot in DT Toronto for sure. A must visit place.
