Bloor-Yonge

Amazing subway station if you need to transfer from line 1 to line 2 and vice versa. There are stairs, escalators, elevators... I mean what more can you want in a transit interchange?

I am sorry to say it, but this station is just chaotic and disorganized. I am a regular rider, I get subway multiple times a day and this station is the worse. In the early morning is fine, you can make your way through if you need to change the direction and get the other line, but the afternoon?!?!? From 3pm to 5 pm it is simply a pure chaos. There are no lines to follow for riders that get out from the yellow line. It's just a crowd that walks everywhere and it is hard coming from the green line even to get close to the platform. 4 times out of 5 during this time I have to wait for the crowd to move and leave then I can finally make it to the waiting area. You can see some TTC employees, supervisor mostly, just standing and talking with no clue whatsoever of it is going on. On the other hand the station is clean and well kept considering the high traffic volume.

I found the station generally clean and well-maintained, but the layout is frustrating and inefficient. I'm sure this is due to constraints during construction but it winds up feeling more like two stations stapled together than one seamless experience.

This station always brings memories back from when I was a kid. My cousins always took me downtown in the 60s, every weekend we would walk young st and visit Sam the record man

It's a subway station what do you want, dinner?nYou're not there long enough to check messages.
