Thai food involves complex layers of flavour and sophisticated balances; spicy, sour, a little bitter, salty. Colour and texture are important; crispy, soft, cold, hot. This interplay between elements is what makes Thai food so thrilling and addictive. However, Thai on the Rock offer these intricacies and dining experience by creating a fusion experience. There are a lot of Thai restaurants but food here will give you a different experience if you visit this place for once. There are far fewer good Thai restaurants offer this experience. The menu is paired down to exactly the right offerings, showcasing exactly what is best.
Our usual Thai spot wasn’t available evening so decided to try some place new. Overall, ingredients felt fresh and portion size was great for price but .. every dish lacked flavour. Spicy noodles were not spicy and truthfully looked like pad Thai without pad Thai sauce - definitely a bit odd. So, if spice isn’t your jam this is your spot — felt safe, easy and good pricing.
Excellent portions! We ordered too much food. We are 2 adults and 2 school aged kids. The hot and sour soup was perfect, they made it extra spicy for me as requested. The mango chicken vegetable stir-fry was amazing. I’ve never had anything like that before.
Absolutely shocked. Ordered 2 soups. One of the soups i ordered was a coconut chicken soup. There was 0 peices of chicken inside the soup. The soup was filled with pure oil, even touching the liquid makes your hand super oily. It was so oily i felt sick eating it. This kind of food can get someone killed with the amount of oil they use. High blood pressure, cardiac arrest etc.. i will report this to the ontario food and safety commision so they can look into it. I felt really unwell after eating the soup
The black spot you see, zoom it its a fly or mosquito or something. I was so excited but I lost my apetite, seeing this guy in my soup. Food should be cooked more carefully.
Ordered the garlic pepper lamb and green curry chicken the other day. Portion sizes were amazing and for once found a place that serves actually spicy food. The ambience of the restaurant too was one of a kind. Definitely going to try their other dishes too!
Ordered spicy noodles with beef. The beef was very tough, the noodles were overcooked and the dish itself was bland. I had to add my own soya sauce for flavour. I didn't care for the spring rolls either. The seafood fried rice was okay, but nothing special. Won't be back. Much better Thai food elsewhere.
I have tried a lot of different Thai restaurants and I will have to say this was definitely the best. The hot and sour soup had a ridiculous amount of flavor. Chill chicken and seafood fried rice is my favorite. The overall ambiance of this place is something to enjoy as well.
The food that i ordered here was amazing and very tasty. I loved their service and their soups and their pad Thai was really amazing. I will rate this restaurant 10 out of 10 cause of their food. If you are a Thai food lover, I highly recommend to you to try here.
Superb food and lovely atmospehere. We just happened to drive by when my husband remembered a Thai restaurant in this plaza. Everything was amazing; from the very first bite. We had the Spring Rolls, Hot & Sour Soup, Pad Thai, the Garlic and Pepper Lamb and to top it all off the Deep Fried Bananas with ice cream. Yumm!Food: 5/5
