GoodLife Fitness Centres

I've been going to the gym for quite a number of years now. Being a long-time customer and holding onto my price has kept it affordable. It's also very close in proximity to work and home which is good for me. So convenience factors into my rating. I don't think it's the "perfect gym" by any stretch of the imagination. A lot of the equipment could probably be updated. I think the biggest beef I have with this business is the number of people taking videos of themselves and photographs without any consideration for who is around them. I'm not interested in being in background of your little Instagram posting. Perhaps there should be a policy made where there is more respect in this regard. On the upside they have great hours of operation and the place is usually pretty clean. However on the weekends it's very often difficult to find paper towels.

Great gym. Great people. Great equipment. Clean washrooms. Can't go wrong with this gym.

Staff are usually friendly. The gym can get busy but if you go often enough you can figure out the slow times. Sometimes on busy days the spray stations run out of paper towel and you may find an empty bottle of Spray. It's annoying how people skip in the weight room. There's a whole room upstairs for that. I don't like all the videos being taken. It's kind of creepy when you know you're in them. But other then that this gym is great. Old equipment but everything works fine. Great location, hours, clean facilities and selection of equipment. Overall great gym.

I was new to Hamilton and wanted to try out this location and the one on Stone Church. I wanted to be able to see which one I like better so I can get my corporate to pay for my membership for that location. However, one of the sales member named Ashley showed no respect to a long term potential customer and said she would charge me $15 for a drop in fee because I had visited Stone church thrice already. The lighting seemed awful anyways so I bought a VIP membership with Stone Church and glad that I didn't buy the member for this location.

Good location, great staff, could easily lose track of time and spend over an hour there minimum.
