GoodLife Fitness Centres

This is the best GoodLife club in the area. Good old school machines and good atmosphere. Lots of space and the free weight area is huge, compared to the other clubs in hamilton. Staff is great as well, they feel like your friends after seeing them everyday. 100% recommend!

This gym is top notch. Good staff, lots of equipment and facilities are kept cleaned by the staff daily. I go late nights and front desk is always friendly. Highly recommend this location

Mediocre.nOnline schedule says no booking classes unavailable. Paper towels are more often empty then full,and the tvs time out and the staff who rarely walk around the facility don't notice so you're stuck watching a 'Are you still there?' Screen. Otherwise, the facility is generally clean, has it's busy moments like anywhere but no long wait times to use equipment.nThere are some inappropriately dressed people that the gym staff should patrol.nI don't use the changerooms as I had a locker broken into and my cash and some property was stolen from gym has no cameras in the changeroom obviously, but didn't offer to check external cameras nor assist with police report inquiry. The have a few lockers in the open workout area...strongly suggest only use those or carry all your stuff around with you.

This club has gone downhill over the last like 6 months. They have a new manager that is really rude to members, and I even saw her yell at a guy who was just standing there not doing anything wrong. She actually was yelling at him. It's so wrong here. The front desk staff are always gossiping and never cleaning, and the weights are just everywhere. I miss the old staff from last year.nnUpdate:nSince this review this club has gotten even worse for service. The workers at the front are often overhead talking about the club and other employees or members to OTHER members. That new manager is the assistant manager, and she is not nice at all. She is snappy and it looks like she makes the employees miserable when she is around. This club is just going more and more downhill as the staff change over, and it's really disappointing to see.

There cancelation policy is sneaky. Basically they will bill you another month's fee after you cancel. And the front desk at upper james are a little rude. But just call corporate and they will waive that last month. P.S. do a better job of cleaning the changerooms... $88 a month is crazy for dirty machines and faculties. Good day
