Good Earth

The whole lemonade is excellent. Lots of delicious fresh made juicrs/juice blends. The bread basket isn't free anymore, but the hummus is delicious. (You can get it to go as well.) Lots of quick and yummy sandwiches and salads at the to go counter. The monthly specials ate definitely worth checking out. I love the "Just right for you" specials, they change monthly and are a tasty, smaller portion that includes a soup or salad, entree and dessert. I haven't had anything that I haven't liked! Good breakfast on the weekends too.

Called this morning to ask if there was a wait. She said there wasn't and said she'd take my name down. (I was in the area and arrived within 3 minutes). I checked in and she said there was a 10-15 minute wait. So why lie about it when I called? She tried saying everyone checked in after I spoke with her. Okay, so why are they ahead of me in the queue then??? I think she either just blatantly lied about there being a wait or she never took my name down. Either way though poor example of customer service. What ever happened to businesses admitting that they came up short and let the customer down or even offering a genuine apology?

I except this place to feel more homey, more rustic, more authentic, less corporate-feeling than it does. Besides the ambiance, the food is delicious and fairly priced. The veggie bran soup has a pleasant kick and flavor. The pomegranate and raspberry frozen yogurt is deceptively huge in taste.

Great food, friendly staff. Call ahead for busy nights, but a normal weeknight is probably unnecessary. Has text waiting to tell you when your table is ready so you can explore the rest of the mall. All the food is natural, a lot of seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients. You get a free bread basket, and fruit cups (fresh fruit, not something in syrup) for the kids. Serves beer and wine and has patio seating and a takeout side (mainly for desserts). Try the sweet & spicy tea: imagine a Big Red gum taste.

I went to lunch here for the first time recently. I was very happy with my experience there. I ordered an omelette with organic eggs (a $2 upcharge I was totally willing to pay). It was pretty darn good. I also LOVED their hot tea. I usually have to add stevia, raw sugar, or honey to tea. But not this tea, it was delicious plain.
