Smash Kitchen and Bar

Brunch is fairly busy but the service was exceptional. Staff Roll friendly and covered all bases when greeted at the front door and at the table. Food was delivered very quickly to the table. Staff were also very quick to clear the table after our meal. I gave a four star review because I found eggs were not cooked enough with the whites being too runny. I also felt the eggs did not go with the crab cakes which tasted amazing on their own.

I found this place on Google looking for a place to have breakfast. I had driven by the plaza many times and hadn't seen it. I'm glad I found it because not only was the food delicious but the staff was incredibly pleasant and attentive. The prices are very reasonable as well. We ordered the Crab Cakes Benedict and the Chicken and waffles with Maple Truffle butter. Both were very tasty. I will definitely be going back to try their dinner menu.

Overall a very good experience. Was treated very well. Food was great, and service was excellent. Didn’t have to wait very long even though the restaurant was quite full. Service was also good as the waitress checked back on us quite frequently. Also had some issues with the menu and the manager took care of all us very well. They are very accommodating here. Atmosphere was good and they do offer nice specials too. Will probably return.

went for a team lunch here today and needed to write this as we enjoyed our lunch so much! We were a party of 7...with some picky eaters amongst us. Our waiter was Andrew and he was GREAT! Total professional-we were on a tight timeline and he got us in and out within 90 minutes. They have a great variety of foods on the menu as well as specials. Andrew even remembered it was a 'special' day and gave our table a treat (on the house). Fantastic service and good food. On a Monday! Totally recommend Smash Kitchen (and Andrew as your waiter).

They have changes the menu and my favourite item is not longer there. The upside, I tried something new. The Caesar was delicious, I had a salad and added salmon which was cooked to perfection, not over done at all. My lunch companions enjoyed their meals too, one had a salad and one had the fried chicken main course. The options are Texas-themed; ribs, fried chicken, a variety of mac n cheese, but there seen some other options. Service was great, but they checked on us a bit too much. We were having an important business meeting and they didn't catch on that they were interrupting. We got checked on 5 times in about 15 minutes by 3 different people; they were being great but it was a bit much and did disrupt the meal. Overall a great place with good service and a cool vibe and atmosphere.
