Goldstream Ave Bicycles is Langford’s premier bike shop. We sell and repair almost every category of bicycle, and service what we (and our competition) sells.

Story

Goldstream Ave Bicycles is Langford’s premier bike shop. We sell and repair almost every category of bicycle, with particular emphasis on hybrid/commuter bikes, BMX, comfort, and every style of mountain bike. Whether looking for a dirt jumper, a bike to ride to work, or just looking for something to ride the Galloping Goose on a sunny day, we have what you’re looking for.

We service what we sell. All our new bikes come with three free tune-ups, which focus on preventative maintenance to reduce long-term maintenance costs and to enhance the use and enjoyment of your bicycle.

We also service what our competition sells. We are a full-service repair shop and are happy to work on most any bicycle. We provide free estimates and advice on maintenance and repairs as well as on size and fitting of bicycles and bike safety gear.

Amazing customer service! The guys in the shop are very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. They go above and beyond on all service I need for my transition patrol. Highly recommending this shop for all bike related things. Can’t say enough good things about this shop. I go mainly for mountain bike maintenance, upgrades, and clothing, but they have a huge variety to fit all bike needs.
We were visiting from out of town and my husband called Goldstream Bicycles in hopes of having them keep his bike in a safe spot for a few hours as we didn’t feel comfortable leaving it in the car or locked up outside. They said they don’t normally offer that kind of service but would make an exception this time for us. We appreciated it so much and couldn’t thank them enough for doing that for us. Everyone at the shop was lovely and we would recommend them for all your bike needs when you’re in town! We know we’ll be back!
Brought my bike in after a few years of neglect. There was a lot of work needed on the bike but Goldstream ran all repairs by me first before proceeding on them. Before installing parts on the bike, they presented options for replacement parts based on quality, price and needs on my bike. Price seemed reasonable for the work and the parts plus staff was very professional and friendly. I had a lot of confidence getting back on the bike and it performed like new. Thanks Goldstream Bicycles!
Unbelievable service from all the staff! My brother and I were looking to upgrade to full suspension MTB and we were blown away by the knowledge and attention to detail. We both ended up purchasing Devinci Troy G12’s and couldn’t be happier. Our go to bike shop from now on. Thank you!
So far so good!!! I’m new to the world of bikes and had them tune up the bike that’s been sitting in my shed. Great service, fast repairs, great communication. I’m delighted to have them so close!!
This place is awesome, I bought my bike a couple of months ago and I love it. The staff are knowledgeable and professional, and seemingly always willing/ready to help someone in the shop. They pump your tires for free, and hold the door for you and your bike when you leave, its the little things folks.
I dropped in for the first time this week and was very impressed with the customer service and reasonable prices. I got a flat tire changed same day, and the staff was so helpful with the whole process and laying out the options for me not an experienced biker. There was some back and forth about replacing the tire plus the tube, and because I spoke to a couple different people throughout the day I was worried there might be some crossed wires, but a log of every interaction & call was printed on my emailed receipt for me to see, all accurate. I'll definitely be using Goldstream Bicycles for all my future biking needs.
I've been very pleased with the service from Steven and the team over the years. We've been buying bikes from the shop for 10 years now, we're about to purchase bike number 5! One for me, one for my wife, an e-bike for commuting, one for the kids, and now a larger one as the kids get older For us, they've been extremely transparent with work to be done and always make sure that the bikes are able to be operated safely. We recently brought in a bike to be overhauled and add the tune ups for life, but instead of selling us the parts, doing the labour, and adding the tune ups for life Would be getting near 500-600 I'd imagine with minimal cost on hardware they were able to recommend a bike that fit our needs better and provided more long term value. The fee for inspecting the old bike was also waived! Thanks for the great service!
Called to make an appointment for my bike and had other questions, spoke with staff member Stephen. He was very polite, knowledgeable, helpful and fun to talk to. Feel comfortable taking my bike there for the work it needs!
You can tell these folks care about providing good customer service. Max had me out on the road with a new bike in no time. A smooth, easy, and pressure free bike purchase from this LBS gets an A+ from me.
