I always loved this place. I would go get their breakfast biscuits. Yes I used to get two. Lived less than three blocks away. I always had a great experience. And til this day I have small meetings there on many occasions and the food is still good. Won't stop going.
 And I have a family member that has a massage studio next to them. Al

This is such a great coffee shop with an empowering attitude. Drinks named after amazing Black folks, a welcoming attitude from the staff, and just a nice space, period. As the signs say, people are welcome! And I felt that when I visited. Can't wait to go back!

I ordered the Billie Holiday and it was phenomenal! You could taste that they used quality ingredients. The place was busy but slowed down about 11:30am. They always have soft jazz music playing. It's very nice.

Warm, welcoming and generally on-point. Try the Muddy Watters espresso. Fancy!

Golden Thyme is a favorite local spot. Their food is to die for (try the dirty grits or hashbrowns) and they are down-to-earth. Stopping in is like visiting family. Be prepared to spend a few minutes waiting for your food or drink. It's not a fast in-and-out coffee shop, but a great cafe to spend some time in, and enjoy the jazz music. 4 out of 5 stars just for the speed, as I can't go there as often as I like simply because of my own schedule.
