Enjoyed our meal,staff are friendly, lovely atmosphere we were seated behind the partition a table for 2, which was great very intimate and relaxing.then sat in the bar and had cocktails which were amazing thank you Michael &Connor
Giovanni's was a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend starting with the mussels, which were some of the largest I've ever seen and came in a delicious creamy sauce. Dipping the toasted garlic bread into the remaining sauce was a treat. The fish and chips were a mixed bag - the fish was fantastic, with a crispy batter and flaky texture, while the mushy peas, tartar sauce, and mayonnaise were also great. However, the chips could have been crispier and more seasoned. The draft beer was expensive but tasty, and the cocktails and desserts were fantastic as well. The only drawback was the restaurant's modern open-plan design, which made it difficult to hold a conversation when it was busy due to limited noise dampening. Despite this, Giovanni's offers a five-star experience. Parking: No parking at the restaurant itself, however the nearest public carpark is at the New Cross Shopping Center.
Nice atmosphere, had to give 4 stars as we’ve been served by 4 or 5 waiting staff in total and at least 2 of them had no idea what they were doing. Food was good however it came extremely fast less than 10 mins, which makes me wonder if the pasta was pre-boiled
Was there tonight for a catch up with my old work mates. The place is so beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. It's not too overcrowded with seats. The service was amazing. We could not thank our server Beth enough. She was on the ball the full night, foreseeing anything we may need and being really friendly. She is a credit to your establishment. The food was well presented and very flavourful. 10/10 would recommend
Lovely Italian in the heart of Hamilton. Beautiful decor and ambiance. Food is amazing & cocktails are so reasonably priced and taste delicious. Espresso martini was my favourite! Only gripe was the main course came out very quickly after the starter, would of liked some time for food to settle first.
The standard of service is 100%, although the service itself is worthy of only 2 stars. My main course took 90 minutes from ordering. Excuses were made and a gesture of 25% off was offered. However, when we got the bill it was only off one main. Circa £3. What was the point? Can't fault the food though. 100%.Food: 5/5
Visited for the first time this evening and had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the table service first class. The food was delicious and beautifully presented beautiful and the portion sizes were more than generous. We will certainly return and will tell all our friends about this gem.
Lovely restaurant with friendly efficient staff. Great meal, loved the huge mozzarella sticks starter. Polo milanese main course was delicious. Sorry that we live some distance away.Food: 5/5
The food was delicious, my steak was perfectly cooked and 2x4oz are not always easy to do "rare to medium" . The staff were friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Service was at a nice pace neither slow not hurried. The restaurant was nicely appointed and had a nice buzz about the place. Would recommend.
