Thank you so so so much for the most unbelievably fabulous night. I moved out of Swindon 8 years ago and decided to come back and have a night out with my dad. We found Gibsons bar and had the best time. The music was perfect, the customers there were all really really nice people and the owner was such a nice guy.... And incredibly talented with playing the guitar. The staff were great too. I highly recommend this place. I can't sing it's praises high enough. To the owner: if you're ever in Brighton... Come and find me x
I have been going here since it opened, I love the bar snacks and have never had a bad pint. I agree the toilet can get busy but it’s a small bar with a great atmosphere. The landlord is great with a funny whitty personality. I can’t fault this place. Update, sadly changed owners. Got served a bad beer with no offer of change... also the atmosphere has gone under new management such a shame. Won’t be returning as just not my kinda place now, real shame
Owner was very rude last night. Unisex toilet with a queue of guys who advised me not to consider using it as it was a mess. Will not be going back, nor will my Old Town friends.
Great feel upon walling in. Was welcoming and friendly. Staff were chatty and as it wad quiet at the start offered table service. Looking forward to my next visit!
This is not a nice place to drink, as a camra member I am used to a decent pint, their 6x was awful. When I complained and asked for a replacement I was met with hostility... they even expected me to pay for it! Do not come here ... so rude

Really upset that I found a Lego man in my food Also the bar made me really sad because the owner looked like he came out of the Beatles. Don’t reccomend this place because the food looks like it was cooked in prison !!
