Giant Tigers are great and underrated. These stores are perfect for singles and couples with smaller portioned purchases for those with limited space at home. They're friendly and do a good job with maintaining stock. Sometimes they do run out and sometimes they don't receive deliveries however, so your best to go early. Proudly Canadian and they have lots of Canadian and local sports team paraphernalia.
For all those who always love shopping at biway... This store has superseded and delivers excellent customer service with excellent value. The sweet staff at the cashier, she's an older lady but super super funny, I believe she's the supervisor the cashier. I have to take a moment and recognize the exceptional customer service that I experienced with her every time I go in there she's always on the till. I like to think I'm a regular there now and she now knows who I am and she is always super pleasant to deal with honestly 10 out of 10 for her exceptional customer service and humor
The entrance is restricted with items hidden in a corner instead of clearly displayed for customers to purchase. Cleanliness should be prioritized by the staff at this location. Make up section is scattered all over the store so customers are running from the entrance to the checkout area to find one item. Parking area is riddled with bad drivers so park as far away from the main entrance to keep yourself and the car safe. Would only visit this location if the other on Dundas street doesnt have the item I want to purchase otherwise this location is avoided. Shopping experience should not cause hygiene, cleanliness and outright confusion for customers.
I came to this location and the prices were phenomenal. Really great and affordable pricing. However, unfortunately when I got to the checkout Martha or varta I am not sure what she said with the mask on however she was exceptionally rude. We spent over $200 and she never offered bags and she was wiping clean items we were purchasing on her counter that was sticky with juice or something. Whenever we would speak to her she would be rude and unkind as if someone did something to her. She really should re consider if customer service is her forte because she would be better at a job where you need to be rude to people like a probation officer. Nonetheless, never coming to this location again. Sending her love and healing.
One of the best Giant Tigers I have ever visited. Its huge, well organized with a great collection of products. The employees are super helpful and nice. Clean and nice ambiance. Well stocked. Great deals. A must visit. Plant lovers could be pleasantly surprised with some great deals which are on quite often.
