Georgeview Open Kitchen Restaurant

My first time dining at Georgeview Open Kitchen. The restaurant reminded me of Maria's Family Restaurant from way back when serving comfort food. The interior isn't very modern but the service and food makes up for it. Super friendly and attentive service with large portions which is always appreciated when dining out. The hot roast beef sandwich was very good. The gyro dinner was enough for two people with 6 slices of gyro, pita bread, fries and a large serving of salad. Just wished they had a seniors menu to choose from. The only down side to the restaurant is the parking. Parking in the front is very limited but there is parking in the back however it's not ideal so I parked in the plaza next door which is convenient. Overall, definitely a good choice to have a meal. Looking forward to trying out other items on the menu!

Charming local joint. The food wasn't anything to write home about. The service was nice, our waiter was friendly. It's a small place and we sat in the area not renovated. Looks like that area does need an upgrade. Nice place to grab a quick bite. Prices are comparable to most places in the GTA.Food: 3/5

April 21, 2022 - Very friendly staff and cozy from the 99s vibe. I ordered the breakfast and the food was okay. I’d give five stars if the potatoes were a little smaller and more flavourful as per their spices and sausage done on the grill instead of oil fried. Excellent overall. Thank you for the food experience

Friendly and attentive staff. I ordered club sandwich with fries and coleslaw. The club was excellent with real carved chicken, the slaw was good too. The fries were bland "McCain " oven style. Not very good. The coffee was okay but my mug was dirty. The tomato juice was some no-name generic blend which wasn't good at all. The club house saved the day.

GREAT FOOD... Have not been here for many years! I am happy I decided to eat here today. Tuna salad sandwich w f&g Blueberry pie DELISHHHHHHH... Our server was super nice, provided great service. Alex...... ask for him if u can....

Great service, great atmosphere and great food. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. No wonder it's been open for over 60 years! When you go, you feel proud to tip for service. You don't get that genuine kindness anywhere anymore. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

If you find yourself in Georgetown and are feeling a bit esurient this place might be for you! We have been here to the “Air conditioned Restaurant “ as we like to call it due to the now removed sign, many times. Once again it did not disappoint! The food was real tasty and the service very friendly and attentive. If you are in town drop by you will not be disappointed. All at a very reasonable price.

Favorite little haunt in Georgetown. Super friendly staff, food is always delicious. I order the breakfast everytime I go here. A must if you're a local or out of towner.

Lovely restaurant! All staff went above and beyond from the greeting, seating and eating. Menu has classic Canadian items from breakfast to lunch to dinner. The owner Jana is a very friendly happy person who is constantly aiming to please. 10/10 for food, service and atmosphere.

Hi. I took my friend there for a birthday breakfast. She had pie. The food is great. The coffee is great. The service is great. The atmosphere is cozy and unassuming and they are more than okay with mask exemptions. This is a place to take your kids to because it has kid food and a friendly atmosphere.
