Delicious food and amazing atmosphere. The owner was very friendly as well. Probably my new favourite place for fish & chips. The outside was very crunchy and the inside was soft, plus the tartar sauce wasn’t overwhelming but still tasted amazing!! 10000% would recommend again

Amazing Restaurant downtown Georgetown.. We celebrated my wife 40th Anniversary. We were a group of 32 and the service and quality of food provided by Mike and his staff was outstanding.. Plus they were so accomodating.. The food was sooo good we forgot to take pictures of it..
Response is truly reflective of the treatment at your establishment- totally uninterested in your customer care! The sarcasm evident. Your waitress WAS fully aware we were not happy with the standard of our meal / dessert. No offer of alternate or how can we make this right! One dessert to go was returned in its entirety and one dessert from the table was taken away by the “owner” who rolled his eyes!!! But we were charged for them! So yes, you were fully aware of the complaint. Stand by my review - and your response solidifies my point of view! Definitely need a lesson in customer service and your food was just “description fancied up” with write up on the menu - as explained by your OWN waitress! Your response is still non reflective of an establishment that cares about its customers!!!! Oh and yes, McDonald’s fries are much better than yours!!! Yours were cold and soggy! Honest feedback of a meal for x2 total cost 270$ with tip on 9 Dec, 2022 Owner of establishment was less than welcoming - almost made us feel guilty for booking his establishment to dine at! Totally uninterested in his guests and rude. Waitress was polite but full of excuses. X 3 different appetizers ordered each one presented nicely and tasty - portions very small. Main course: fillet of steak well have to say this was extortion in price!!!! The steak came cut in three small pieces with fries that quite honestly would have been better from McDonald’s!! No veggies and just literally slapped on the plate with ketchup and mayonnaise. 40$ a plate!!! The dessert was something else! Chocolate brownie truffles with toffee sponge - again just thrown together! Nothing appealing about this dessert - even though they took one dessert away - they STILL charged for it! If we could rate this place a zero we would; and even then that would be too good ! Do not waste your time or hard earned money at this establishment! One of the worst meals ever encountered. Also do not accept Amex for payment.
I hosted a private event at The Berwick and it was absolutely amazing. Mike and Chef Chris made sure no detail was left out. We had a crowd-pleasing menu consisting of passed appetizers, seated entrees and dessert table. The service is on point. They paid close attention to allergies and dietary restrictions. The food is delicious and piping hot every time, and the prices are great. These guys take pride in this Restaurant. Whether it’s a date night out or a larger function, the Berwick is my top Georgetown pick. If you haven’t had a chance to try it out, get over there. Recommend without hesitation.
Fantastic anniversary dinner at The Berwick last night. It was our first time visiting and the food and service were both excellent! The food was well seasoned and made to perfection - we tried the lamb tacos, fish & chips and the burger - they were all delicious and would order them again. The owner was very friendly and helped us with recommendations. This is a great place for dinner, date night or celebrating a special occasion. We will definitely be back!
Just came in for a quick lunch today. The owner of the restaurant was in and recommended I have the prosciutto pear sandwich with a pint of the Chicken Man IPA. The sandwich was a perfect blend of sweet and savoury and just the right size for lunch, I contemplated having two. The beer worked so well with the flavor profile of the meal. Service was on point and the atmosphere was relaxing. A great hideaway from the afternoon heat. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time. I'll have to write up another review when I stop in for dinner. Thanks!
My husband and I came here for our anniversary as we wanted to try something local. Honestly, I may have had one of the best steaks and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger. The menu is small but we absolutely enjoyed what we had! The wine selection on the other hand was large and I loved the Tall Poppy Shiraz. We're definitely recommending the Berwick to our friends and family.
Attended a bridal shower and want to come back again for dinner. The food was fantastic and the staff were amazing and very attentive. They took special care of my allergies and were great hosts. The decor was very comfortable and inviting. Felt very homey and relaxing. Definitely recommend!!
Best meal I have had all year. Food was outstanding, prices were very reasonable. Delicious, beautiful menu, sweet atmosphere, quiet enough with space layout to have meaningful conversations, yet hip and lively to really enjoy the setting. Highest recommendation, my new favorite restaurant. Vegetarian options: excellent vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options
