Gate Ave Service (Certigard)

I found Gate Ave to be a honest shop, they got me in quick and for such a good price. They also offered me a courtesy ride home while they worked on my vehicle, witch was great since not a lot of Mechanic shops offer that. I was very satisfied with their service and will definitely take my care back again.

Nowadays finding a trustworthy auto mechanical shop is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Having said that I stumbled upon Gate Avenue Service where I had my Rav4 serviced. I was pleasantly impressed by Richard and his staff the level of customer service and knowledge that they offered. As a bonus, they provided me a ride service to my work. Keep up the good work Richard. I will definitely recommend Gate Avenue service to all my friends

Gate ave service has always been there for me since I was 16 years old , the day I got my first car on the road . I am now 36 . That's 20 years of amazing service . I would never take my vehicle anywhere else . Richard and his crew always take care of me , now my son is driving so we will continue on going here for service and repairs. No long waits . Courtesy vehicles and competitive prices . Thank you for treating us like family .

I called around and they were the cheapest to do an insurance inspection on out of the five I called. Shuttle service is really convenient. It looks clean inside the customer area as did the shop. Now the thing I'm upset about. I was told they wouldn't sign off on my insurance inspection without replacing the rear swaybar bushings which were "worn out." Well, I said I'd do them myself and take it back to them to have a look and sign off on the inspection. When I said that on the phone i could hear the guy on the line deflate with disappointment and reluctantly, he agreed. Upon checking the car myself, I found no play in the bushings when applying force to them and I even went as far as driving over ungulating roads surfaces and confimed that there was no knocking or clunking from the rear suspension. Once I removed the bushings I noticed, the rubber had no cracks, it wasn't brittle and, it was the same shape and size as the replacements. I had to change perfectly good bushings for these people to sign off on my car. Sounds like they were hoping I wasn't savy enough to do them myself so they could charge me the hour they quoted me and do them in less than the 30 minutes it took me to do them on the driveway. Bushings are gravy on a car like this and take no time to do on a hoist, how many others have been quoted huge amounts of money for jobs that don't require the amount of time quoted or are not necessary. I feel like they held me hostage... Not happy with that.

Fantastic service, great work at an honest price. Can't beat that combination. Richard is great to deal with, as is everyone else, he always takes the time with every customer.
