I visited countless car dealerships around the greater Edmonton area in the weeks leading up to my visit to Ron Hodgson. What started with basic questions about vehicle availability turned into a barrage of text messages, emails and phone calls. In the rare case that a vehicle was in stock, test drives were followed up with unbelievable hidden fees when given an actual quote. I was growing more frustrated with every dealership I visited. My experience at Ron Hodgson was drastically better than anywhere else. Danny was very helpful, friendly, and I never felt like I was being pressured into buying anything. I was quoted a price much lower than what I was expecting with a much better financing rate than any other manufacturers/dealers were offering. Ludwig was also a pleasure to deal with, handling all my paperwork, financing and additional options. The vehicle hand over was done by Brittany. She was very friendly, positive and helpful, walking me through all the options and features that came with my new truck. I recommend Ron Hodgson to anyone in the market for a new vehicle, especially a new pickup truck. I've only had it for a couple weeks now, but my new Silverado 1500 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel with the Z71 off-road package is awesome. It has lots of power and incredible fuel economy.

I had frequented another dealership for literally decades. In the parts section, their parts person Jeremy Wilson was a huge factor of my continued business at that dealership. Strong interpersonal skills and very strong knowledge of parts and procuring them sets Jeremy apart from the average parts person. His absence from the other dealership was immediately noticed. Lack of interest, lack of people skills, and lack of helpfulness from the parts people became the norm of that dealership. I was to start working six days per week ten hour days out of town. My repair became a 10 out of 10 problem with an incredibly tight timeline to accomplish the repair. So, I contacted the parts dept of my 'go to' parts people. Simply put, I will not waste my time with their parts dept ever again, nor will I get repairs done there again. Frustrated and running out of time, I called Ron Hodgson's parts dept. It was obvious over the phone that the parts person was knowledgeable and has people skills. Immediately, I drove to pick up the parts. When I walked in, it was Jeremy from the former dealership. As always, he treats customers with respect, and wants you leave with the correct parts. He never tries to "up sell" you anything. He never makes you feel as if your a burden if you do ask an additional question. If you have a parts question, he will provide the information clearly and intelligently so you can make the best decision. The dealership is well maintained, have a pleasant staff, and an exceptional parts department. They are my new dealership to frequent.

I had the best experience when purchasing my vehicle at Ron Hodgson with Danny Achty as my salesman. Danny responded honestly and patiently with each question, and he did not pressure me. Danny made my complete dislike of purchasing a vehicle enjoyable. The transaction couldn’t of gone any smoother.

I have a Chevy Silverado 2017 that I brought in because of steering issues with my four wheel drive. They told me I’d need a full inspection, no issues there as I understood they’d need to diagnose the issue. They told me they need to update my power steering with a computer system or something minor. I got that done as they said that was the issue. Turns out all they did was put my car into two wheel drive and said it’s “fixed”. I quickly realized that they changed my driving mode as I was fishtailing on the winter roads so I put it back into four hi what it was in when I brought it to the shop. I later realized they didn’t fix anything when I near lost control of the car when the steering gave out and near ended up in a ditch. I went back to them very upset as that is unacceptable after almost taking my life and they said I could leave it with them for the day. I refused as I already wasted a whole day there and they can’t seem to be trusted to fix it right the first time. I got a refund and will not be bringing my car back. Looking at the other reviews about the service centre I wish I saw them before taking my car there in the first place.

Brought in a vehicle from out of town while we had to be here for a few days for other business. They fit us in right away and had the issue fixed in a more than reasonable time for a fair price. Their communications were great and the staff were very helpful and friendly!
