Gasoline Alley Museum

Close to the main gate, the newer Gasoline alley in Heritage Park has a bright and beautiful building. The displays are well done and interesting. Some are set up as a vignette and some are simply displayed nicely. There is a row of vintage gasoline pumps, carriages, a travel trailer and cars. There is one convertible set up like its at an old drive in theatre, and you can sit in the car for a photo op. There is a kids area where they can color and play. Be sure to go downstairs to see more old cars and trucks as well as vintage oil company signs and more gasoline pumps. It is a short walk from the parking area, but on a busy day you may have to park further away, and take the trolley/street car closer to the main gate. Washrooms are well positioned and clean. Just outside Gasoline Alley and around the corner there is an old gas station with the rounded corners on the building that I just loved. This building is handicapped accessible with an elevator to access the basement.

There's a lot to learn about the history of oil and gas - very fitting for Calgary and definitely something unique I'd recommend to visitors. Be sure to speak to the staff here, they've got a wealth of knowledge to share!

Perfect place for a large event. At a recent gala event, the food selection was at best a gourmet meal and at worst a 5 star restaurant. The automotive memorabilia, autos, and one of the best gas pump collections provides a purely unique and perfect atmosphere for an event.

Besides having an amazing collection of beautiful classic automobiles and associated artifacts on display. There are two other aspects that are quite intriguing about this centre. 1. It is a great place to take children as it has a designated play area for children so that parents can take a break. There is also a basement area for children's birthday parties too. 2. Upstairs in the mezzanine area is a great place for meetings and gatherings. These meetings can be catered with a wide selection of delicious recipes. The atmosphere creates a unique experience for meetings and events.

Went to the APEGA ceremony here, very nice venue, with awesome historical decor and well organized.
