"A fast-casual Tokyo-style ramen shop. Furious Spoon is where ramen meets hip hop with its bowls made with handmade noodles and loud hip-hop music atmosphere. The name Furious Spoon was chosen to educate guests on the culturally proper way to eat ramen-- furiously. Slurp the noodles furiously so that the noodles and the other ingredients do not overcook in the hot broth."
I’m giving this place a two out of five due to the Ramen broth being too oily or and causing some indigestion problems for my husband and I. The broth tasted off as if it was old. The oil was too much even for a shoyu broth. Customer service was a great 4 out 5. I just hope we didn’t get a bad batch of broth.
Our server was absolutely amazing. She not only recommended what we should try, but had the best personality. The drinks she recommended were perfect and the food was even better. I would highly recommend this place and I'm definitely going back again!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: No
Stumbled upon this Restaurant while In town, I’m a ramen fan but not the biggest. The location was nice an they played all hip hop on sign outside I ordered the “All you can eat Ramen” for $22 not knowing how it would end. My first Ramen was the “DYNAMO SHRIMP” the shrimp where amazing!! It was pretty spicy but not unbearable, I did remove the Fresno chilies. My second bowl was the “VEGGIE GAINS” I was so disappointed in this, the noodles where drastically different, the broth was extremely salty and green beans where raw. I should of stoped at the first Ramen. For a drink I had the UPTOWN SANGRIA, it was good but not strong if you don’t like the taste of liquor. Overall ok experience Niko was our server an was amazing. Also the wait time for Food started normal an became excessively long, it seemed to only have two people working in the kitchen. Within my entire party the general consensus is that our first bowls were good the second bowls were not. We all ordered different bowls and we all experience different noodles on our second round. If I was to return it would only be for Dynamo shrimp, NOT the Veggie Gains At all!
The food is really good and also very aesthetically pleasing if you need to get in some photos for your Instagram. The servers and other staff are very personable. The music is a good vibe and volume. Putting this place on my go again list!!
Had the Tokyo ramen with an added egg and the spicy cucumbers. Very tasty, great portion size. The cucumbers were spicy with a Korean chili flake like gochugaru on them. Service could be a tad quicker but that’s happening anywhere you dine in lately.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: No
Honestly the ramen was good. The fried shrimp dumplings were even better. The service was slow thou. They seemed understaffed but our server was pretty cool so we waited and just settled for a slow lunch. The music sets an upbeat atmosphere. The food is pretty pricey thou so there’s that. Everything is a pricey add on so the bill runs up quick.
Change my review to 1 star after this happened: Ordered pickup around closing time 9:20 pm of mother clucker with miso instead of shio. After picking it and opening it I discovered it wasn't miso broth note that I order miso broth all the time and know how it should smell/taste like. Since I knew this place was about to close I just called to let them know about the mistake wasn't even thinking they can do everything because they were closing, but the person answering argued with me that I got miso since it was gray color and hang up the phone. First time that ever happened to me. BTW, you can see in the pictures attached two broths from different times and see they even look different. Old review 5 stars: Went for a quick pickup right before closing. Service and food were good Got the mother clucker miso instead of shio and was happy.
The service provided by Quan was 5 star, the food didn’t deserve any stars due to the cooks’ attitude and carefree spirit to his line of work. This was by far my favorite location to visit for the vibes and staff. However after today, I’m not so sure about returning. I ordered the veggie gains and my boyfriend ordered the dynamo shrimp. His bowl was delivered to the table noodles very under cooked and mine was returned due to the cook not following the instructions of no corn. We then sent his back to have to noodles cooked to his liking and the cook says loudly over the music playing “ if I cook them any longer they will be mushy”. Now my dish returns and I notice the spicy noodle I requested wasn’t in the bowl, sending them back again for a second time. His bowl now back and ok, still not piping hot and noodles almost to liking but at this point we were both severely irritated from the matter. I received my bowl back after about 20 mins, because the cook decided to stock and refill the line because he stated loudly once again that he’d be leaving at 4pm. At that time I wasn’t hungry and noticed the difference of cauliflower doneness & size, to how cold the mushrooms were and the temp of the broth. Upon leaving Quan thanked us for coming and expressed sincere apologies and hoped we’d visit again, we thank her for her service; but heard a negative response from the cook in return F#%^ THEM. My boyfriend wanted to turn around to ask the cook to confirm what we had heard, I urged him that it wasn’t worth it; as I rather leave a review and reach out to the owner/ manager who escalate the situation. Being that I’m also in the hospitality industry this was absolutely absurd and grounds for termination. We all have our bad day but to become unprofessional was in call for and leaves a bad name for the location, owner and franchise.
We had a great experience. We received our order in just a few minutes and our ramen was AMAZING. So flavorful, so delicious. We will definitely be coming back to this location.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
