Absolutely delicious! The ramen broth was so full of flavor and the mango tropical roll was refreshing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Great quick lunch stop.
We went there on a Saturday evening and the staff told us that it was a 5 minute wait. I thought it was funny and why not! There are valentine’s decor up and it’s so cute and romantic! I also really loved the twinkling fairy lights but I was sitting against them on the ledge of the window. It was not uncomfortable per se; it was just very narrow and inconvenient especially with all the big winter coats. They got a bit busy but the staff were still very friendly and service was great nevertheless. We got the Takoyaki, Kameya Ramen extra spice on the side, Kameya house roll, and Godzilla roll. The ramen was chewy and there was depth to the broth, pork belly was a little overcooked. The makisushi were delicious and the presentation was beautiful - each table had a different picture on their plate. I also got pork gyoza and 911 salmon roll to-go. The gyoza was so yummy  so was the salmon roll even after I microwaved it a day later. The wrap was soft on the sides and crunchy on the bottom and the meat inside was not dry. The bill wasn’t too bad for how much we ordered; it was ~$30 per person.
Absolutely loved the food at Kameya. I am a vegetarian and loved their veggie spring roles and avocado sushi was so fresh!!! I finally ordered Veggie gyoza ramen in miso broth, which was exceptional! The person, who served us was very polite and also played some k-pop songs as per my niece's request. This was overall a great experience and I highly recommend this gem of a ramen restaurant.
Everything was wonderful! The sushi was high quality and delicious. They were able to add a table outside for us which was great. Loved everything and service was excellent! Highly recommend!
The food was amazing and the customer service is excellent. This was my 2nd time going here and the food was just as good as the first time I went. I will definitely return to this restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone that loves ramen and sushi.Food: 5/5
Decent ramen, good size portions. My only complaint was that the ramen tasted like it had a little bit too much flour.
The best ramen I’ve had! please stop and have some! The pork belly steak buns were soooo good!Recommended dishesPork Belly Steam Buns
We stumbled upon this place when we were craving ramen on a cold night. Being vegetarian I appreciate the more-than-usual options. The tofu panko buns were delicious! The age dashi tofu was somewhat bland and not crispy. The ramen tasted good but the miso broth was really salty...which I know it tends to be anyways, but like more than usual. The gyoza was alright, not much flavor. The space is cute and tiny. I wanted to really love it but there is better ramen in the city. It's a cute spot, but not memorable.
Stop it, just stop it……. Read if you want but I must warn you, if you get a reservation and you chose to go, you will never ever ever find another Ramen place that you’ll enjoy again. Make a reservation, eat the kameya ramen and thank me later.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
The first "gourmet" ramen I ever had was at Kameya's other location on Webster in Lincoln Park, a quaint dining room with attentive servers and wonderfully delicious options. Last night, perhaps inspired by the freezing slush descending from the heavens, I decided to get takeout from this location on Belmont. It was just as great as I remembered. I'll start by complimenting the to-go packaging, which, if we've learned anything with takeout over the pandemic, can truly make or break the meal. The main ingredients lightly breaded chicken, egg, etc were perfectly cooked, placed neatly in a bowl, and wrapped for freshness. The broth was in a separate container, ready to be heated and poured over the aforementioned deliciousness. This was exactly what I needed last night, and will likely be a go-to for the rest of the winter!
