Fresh Box Sushi

it was a good place to just have a quickie sushi place. not too overly clean but good enough for the place to eat in and just finish up. food is not too bad.

I decided to drop in here after my gym. For some reason I never tried this place but decided to give it a try today and had an awesome experience! I ordered assorted donburi, salmon spicy crunch roll and some nigiris. I was amazed to see how fresh the fish, rice was and prices were way too reasonable for covid standards. I’ll be coming back all the time. Really appreciate the chef for giving me an extra piece of fish on my toro nigiri when I asked if it was okay to eat 2 pieces while I was waiting for take out. My family member also said this place is awesome! !! , !

Love their sushi. Like taste of the rice. My to go sushi place. I ordered sushi from lots of places. High end ones, expensive ones, none meet my satisfaction. Sofar this team worked during proved I can order withthe same quality every time. Like it for take out but not necessarily for dining in. Maybe they make some updated to make it more attractive for dining. Read some health warnings. I never had an issue with freshness of their products.

A lot of spicy Rolls which is funky, taste good but on pricier side as their rolls tend to be quite small. So would be great for a quick grab/snack.Food: 4/5

My son and I bought sushi in the place on August 20, 2022. We noticed the California rolls were a bit warm, and so we assumed it was the rice that was just fresh. Both of us got really sick that night. During summer time you expect the restaurants take care of the fish products accordingly and this place obviously does not. I see in other reviews that people have complained about food poisoning or meat not being fresh. The health authorities should audit this restaurant. Do not go to this place unless you don’t care for your health. Never coming back to this place.

Rolls are good. But they asked about tips even though I had already given 10% tips on debit. Dunno why I even had to give tips when there’s no service and no water given.

Don't let the size of the dining area turn you off. They serve one of the best sushi this side of Kingsway. Their prices are affordable, the food great, and the service is quick.

My new favorite sushi spot! The Korean girls that work at the counter are always super friendly and patient to deal with. The prices here are very reasonable and the food has been consistent. My favorite rolls to order is the yam avocado roll, negitoro roll and also, the spicy tuna crunch roll. There’s not much for ambience here since most people order to go however the food makes up for it. I just wish that they didn’t use so much styrofoam here ie. cups and to go boxes, it’s horrible for our environment. Hopefully, they can switch to paper boxes or even reusable containers in the near future.

Amex accepted, inserted to pay. Takeout only. Chirashi don is good. Tuna salmon don is smaller and have thinner cuts which is reasonable for the lower price. Friendly waitress.

The worst sushi restaurant that's not good at all and not kind. I did Dine in, but they didn't even give me a cup of water. Even though it didn't look so busy, the server didn't care me for a long time, so I went to order food at the checkout counter. + Rice was cold./
