Just had a great experience here Sunday afternoon. Had a pickup order that was placed by the wife a bit too early as I was busy myself. Upon arrival of pickup I noticed the order was sitting on the counter in room temperature and became worried that it was unsafe to eat anymore. The worker quickly addressed my concerns and made me a new poke bowl without any hesitation. Brought the food home and quality was amazing. Will definitely be coming back.
Got a medium “The Red Bowl”, which was a decent size overall; the takeout container was packed full to the top which was good. The type of seaweed used is more like the texture of that in miso soup, versus dry seaweed, which was different from my expectations. Solid poke bowl overall, but nothing that specifically sets it apart/stands out from other poke chains. Good option for poke in the area if you have a craving.
Reasonably priced good poke bowls. Probably the best poke place in Metrotown Burnaby. Portion size is decent and protein amount when size is medium is good. Tastes fresh.
You can make your own vegan bowl here. Pretty good value. One large bowl is good enough for two people. Their tofu is marinated Parking in-front to pick up hasn’t been an issue for me, but you will find plenty of parking in the street behind the restaurant on a busy day.
Mahalo iā 'oe ! I swung by for virtual UberEats lunch and snagged a Large Build-a-Bowl Tofu, wow! Dope flavor, a veggie-powered healthy protein stacked awesome blend and textures of unique, fresh and exciting flavors! This was super tasty and yummy, loved every bite. My second time visit to Pokey Oakey and I was super impressed, 100% the most polished Poké chain I have had in Van, chopstick gift kit was awesome! Clean, fresh, bold and exciting flavors through wholesome ingredients done right. A hefty portion of yummy poke indeed!! This meal was exciting and have me some incredible summer vibes. Thee Tofu was marinated beautifully and had great texture and flavor throughout, a knockout. I'd dig if they had a non-mayo spicy sauce which would be a request from me. I do really did the Gojuchang hot sauce which adds a nice bit of richness and smokiness punch. The value was certainly there in terms of ingredients grade and quality, although it's certainly one of the more expensive poke joints I have been to but admitingley the biggest and most plentiful portion of poke I have had in a while. Support local businesses!
Didn’t expect to have such an awesome poke experience. Our server was quick and had the most amazing attitude I’ve ever seen in food service. Their selection is a little smaller than other poke places, but definitely not lacking. I absolutely love their citrus dressing. Also, they have super duper cute artwork as labels, but also as merch on the side for purchase. They currently have a special partnership with the bubbletea place next door that will give you a BOGO 50% off coupon upon your purchase at Pokey Okey I had no idea I could fall in love with a poke place, but here I am ‍
Delivery app had a deal - large 3-topping poke for ~$10. Very worth it. It was much larger than the large poke at other places. Filled right up to the top too! Filled me up for 1.5 meals. I think the normal price of $20 is a little more expensive than other places but a lot of places don't fill jt to the top. Fish was fresh, topping choices are nice. The only downer is thar I did not taste any of the sauces at all. I could not taste the wasabi mayo, nor the ponzu, nor the sesame sauce. So after eating for a while, it just felt very dry to me. If I were to order again, I'd ask for extra sauce and hoping they'd see my comment in the delivery apps
Food is great! A good option to get poke from, but today I decided to get the Chilled Smocked Duck Soba that they have available for a limited time. It’s super tasty, hopefully it’s a reoccurring item for the future.

This places'customer service has always been top notch! Food is fresh and very tasty as well!Can't go wrong with any of their items. We always pick the Red and Yellow Bowls. Before I could take a picture of the bowls, they were ravaged. See attached pictures! And the pictures speaks to how tasty everything was. Definely a place everyone should try out.
